Welcome to Bliss On The Point...bright and peaceful. Beautiful peaceful water complete with a family of swans, ducks galore, pelicans, seagulls, herons...you name it!

Located in a fantastic spot only a short walk from some trendy little restaurants and a fabulous fruit market as well as a tavern, brilliant cafe and convenience store. Pacific fair Shopping Centre is 2 kms up the road and the Star Casino only a few metres further.

Pop into Broadbeach, Surfers Paradise or venture south to Burleigh...all easily accessible by car and the beach is only a very short drive.

Bifold doors open up all along the large open plan living area making a seamless transition to the gorgeous outdoor entertaining area complete with comfortable outdoor lounge, 12 seater dining table, BBQ , not to mention the turquoise tiled pool, sunloungers, playground, sandy beach and jetty!

The kitchen windows also open up completely offering a huge servery and stunning views.... the kids can jump out of the pool and grab a sandwich and a drink without having to dry off or traipsing water through the house!

Watch your favourite Netflix series on the 65inch TV as you relax on the large modular lounge. Seat 12 at the two level dining table and entertain in style with a glorious selection of stunning platters and salad bowls for your use.

The kitchen comes fully equipped with stylish crockery, glassware, cutlery and every appliance you can think of, including an Expressi Coffee Machine.

There is a sturdy playground with fort, slide, swing and trapeze and plenty of room for the kids to run around or even kick a footy!

Feed the ducks and swans, watch the pelicans glide on the thermals, see the trio of mallard ducks who race past every day and the family of swans...parents and 3 cygnets who have made these waterways their home. There are multitudes of fish that congregate under the jetty...throw in some bread and watch them suddenly appear!

This house will have you relaxing into complete holiday mode the moment you walk through the front doors.

Great Location

The Mermaid Waters property was everything a family of 12 would want. Great location. Had some unexpected extras such as a slow cooker and rice cooker, Plenty of day to day requisites.

Recently stayed for 5 nights with 3 families. Facilites easily accommodated 11 (6 adults/5kids) with plenty of cutlery/crockery etc. air con in all rooms, good fishing with the kids of the front pontoon. We did have an issue with the internet which wasn't great when 5 kids are device dependant however the communication with the owners and eventually coming to a solution was great. I would definitely recommend and stay again!

Great accommodation on Mermaid Waters

Have loved our family getaway at Bliss on the Point. Fabulous house however was extremely disappointed with the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. The mould in the bathrooms was disgusting. The fridge and bbq dirty. Damaged cupboard broken t roll holder. This is not good enough for the price.

Funny thing is, your three star review is for a stay right smack in between two five star reviews....you literally arrived the day reviewer number one left ...and guest number three...the reviewer immediately after you... arrived on the day you left!! As property managers we rely heavily on the professional cleaning company you paid for to have done their job. The minute you advised me of the cleaning issues I sent the manager of the cleaning company back immediately to resolve, which he did. There was no mould...the sinks and bath are made of a concrete look finish, they are cleaned before and after every guest and the house is booked almost every day so not possible for mould to grow under those conditions. I'm pretty sure the guest immediately before you who gave us five stars for everything including cleaning, would have mentioned this if it were true :) The cupboard door is a specialised fit that needs a professional to fix so this was not possible to resolve during your stay however really should not have impacted your stay as it's a corner cupboard with revolving shelves and the door was simply removed to make access easier than trying to manoeuvre a wonky door. I'm glad you enjoyed the 5 bedrooms with king beds in all but the bunk room...the huge expanse of grass for children to play, the playground, the gorgeous covered alfresco area, gorgeous pool, sandy beach, beautiful kitchen and the wonderful location. I feel very comfortable that the experience you had including immediate and responsive communication, a fantastic house and a wonderful location deserved more than the three stars you deemed it worthy of. We do hope you don't return :)

Lovely stay and beautiful area

Lovely enjoyable holiday house perfect for a big family spacious great entertainment areas, a minor improvements could be made with maintenance, examples kitchen cooking utensils need replacing as most are damaged and dishwasher needs a service to improve cleaning, bbq needs to have fat removed as it caught on fire and privacy locks as none on any amenities and no door on ensuite but overall a great holiday house for a family and would return

Oh thank you for your lovely review! Thank you also for the heads up about the kitchen utensils and the dishwasher...we are onto it! The BBQ is the third one in a year....so hard to stop them rusting on the waterfront properties....but I think the owners are looking at a Weber next....so we will be sure to keep an eye on things and make sure all is up to speed going forward. It was so lovely to have you and we look forward to you all returning one day!

Shocking from the time we walked in the door.

From walking into the front door through the garage which was filthy, had pool supplys which were old and dirty scattered everywhere . Around the outside of the property it was messy in side the house the ensuite toilet roll holder was broken, all venetion blinds full of dust, outdoor chairs full of dust and dirt and grim, kitchen sink brown and dirty, BBQ packed with grease and left over food in the bottom pull out tray, cockroaches through out the kitchen , dryer handle broken, pontoon very unstable, corner kitchen door broken, all indoor plants dusty, Ants everywhere inside and out, broken tiles everywhere around and in the pool, wine glass broken plates broken and had to give everything in the kitchen a good clean before use. Midget Sand flys are terrible and infected 6 out of the 9 family members who stayed and was never told about this. All in all never again will we stay at Mermaid waters let a lone this property.

Sorry Gregory...you could not be pleased. None of the above is true at all. This house is cleaned by a professional cleaning company approximately every 4 days due to the high occupancy. It is impossible for it to be in the state you described and just is not the case. Not only do I always check the property before a check in, but so does my check in lady, and the cleaners send through photographs of every room as it is cleaned. There is accountability at all stages and no matter what you complained about, we tried to resolve immediately, even purchasing a brand new outdoor lounge for you during your stay as the previous one, that was only 6 months old, was starting to show signs of wear and tear. We are quite glad that you will not grace not only our property...but the whole of Mermaid Waters ever again :)

Family Reunion

I booked this rental about 6 months beforehand from the UK. Everything was straightforward apart from downloading the VRBO app which announced it was unavailable to download in the UK. I booked through email. My Australian family met me at the property, which they took over the day before I arrived, sending me their photos of the accommodation which they were very excited about. Sure enough, it was exactas seen in the brochure. Linen was supplied, thankfully, and there is an excellent laundry room. We found the comfortable sofas on the veranda had been sat in by some heavy weights and if you sat on them you piled into the other occupant. This was relayed to the rental company who immediately replaced the furniture for us. I would happily stay in this lovely home again.

The house was lovely very clean, modern and spacious.

Great location on the waterways. The kids loved the pool and play equipment they even fed the swans. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed. Only minor negative is the house has no ducted air conditioning so beds rooms without A/C was very hot even with the fans on particularly for a house of its high standard. Overall experience wish we could have stayed longer, we loved our stay and would highly recommend it and we will stay here again in the future.
