With four bedrooms, including a dedicated kids’ retreat plus two bathrooms and a laundry, there’s plenty of room for everyone. Step outside to a beautifully landscaped garden, providing a peaceful and tranquil setting, yet you’re just 500 meters from the heart of town, putting all that Tocumwal and the southern Riverina region have to offer right at your fingertips.

The fully equipped kitchen features an oven, stovetop, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, and toaster along with cookware, dinnerware, and a welcome supply of tea, coffee, and sugar to get you started. Relax in the stylish lounge area, complete with cozy seating, modern decor, evaporative cooling, and central heating to keep you comfortable year-round.

We provide all linens, soft cotton towels, and toiletries, plus the convenience of an in-house washing machine & dryer for longer stays.

Our stay at Murray Street Retreat was everything we hoped for and more! We were a family of 8 adults visiting Tocumwal for a very special family occasion and were delighted with the beautiful home and garden that accommodated all of us perfectly. The location is ideal with just a short walk into town and to the river. The house was spotlessly clean with comfortable beds, quality furnishings, towels and linens. We enjoyed a lovely barbecue in the outdoor entertaining area which is ideally set up. Mira and Daniel are exceptional hosts and went out of their way to ensure our stay was a special time.My family and I wholeheartedly recommend Murray Street Retreat.Thank you for everything Mira and Daniel.

Labour day getaway

We had a fantastic time. The place is stunning inside and out. It was the small things that really made the experience special, such as including Netflix, Stan and even kayo. There was even a beer pong set!

Stranded out in the heat as couldn’t access property until 24hrs later

Drove 3 hours, my family was stranded out in the heat for the whole afternoon and couldn’t access the property for 24hours. It was terrible check in process with the owners. Lack of communication and not contactable. Had to arrange and pay other accommodation the day of check in as unable to contact the owners. Daniel now refusing a refund that he originally agreed to in person and didn’t want to go through the Stayz App.

Unfortunately this situation was not ideal and a little more complicated. After a mix up with the access codes we did agree to provide a refund. However the decision was changed following check out, due to a number of reasons; the booking was for 4 people and the house was filled with over 10 people. Also an additional 3 cars were hidden in the backyard, and parked under the alfresco dinning area after driving over the irrigation system and freshly laid grass.

This property was so lovely, modern and clean, such a great space to spend some time away with family or friends. Daniel and Mira were so lovely and extremely understanding when our stay was cut short due to border restrictions. We would recommend to anyone and will definitely be returning

We’re a young family of five who love exploring new places and making memories together. Tocumwal has always held a special place in our hearts, from the majestic Murray River to the charm of the town itself, it’s one of our all-time favourite spots to unwind and reconnect.

We have been camping along the Murray since we were kids. It was our families go to holiday destination. We built this home with the vision of bringing friends & families together.
