The fantastic self-contained holiday unit accommodation offered by Island Point Getaway is situated on the north side of St Georges Basin, a large coastal lake which connects to the sea via Sussex Inlet, just south of Nowra (160km south of Sydney) near Jervis Bay. All the attractions of the South Coast of NSW, and the Shoalhaven region in particular, are close by.


Property Description

The unit is situated on the ground floor of a large block,as the owner lives upstairs, far from the quiet street, so traffic noise is never a problem. Access is via an all-weather driveway, and there is plenty of room for parking your cars (and boats). Your boat can be moored at my private jetty, which can also be used for swimming and fishing. The water access, private boat ramp and jetty make Island Point Getaway the perfect location for fishermen, boating enthusiasts or kayak paddlers. A concrete drive-way leads down to your accommodation, and the concrete boat ramp at the end gives access to the waters of St Georges Basin. The Basin connects to the sea via Sussex Inlet, so fishermen can choose to fish the secluded waters of "the Basin", Sussex Inlet, Bherwerre or Cudmirrah Beaches.
Location

The master bedroom sleeps two in a queen size bed, while the second bedroom has 2 single beds.Perfect for family holidays. The unit is air conditioned and has a 55 inch smart TV. In the main room plus a smaller one in the master bedroom. There are also 2 kayaks available for hire for $20 a day each including life jackets or just tie your boat up at my private jetty or throw a line in straight off the end. 500 metres up the road is the St Georges Basin shopping centre, which includes a post office, general store, fish and chip shop, video store, hotel and bottle shop or catch the courtesy bus to the country club and have a round of golf at our 18 hole golf course or enjoy a meal and a cold drink.
