Updated Condo! Heated Pool & Hot Tub, Grill, FREE Parking, FREE Activities! ~ 707 Sandcastle

Building maintenance is scheduled to begin in August 2025 and is estimated to finish by January 2026. Work will be Monday through Friday from 8am-4pm. The work is being done on the road facing side of the building, the beach facing side, and the parking garage. The pool & hot tub will be open during this time, and limited parking will be available in the front of the building. Please inquire prior to booking if you have additional questions.

This place was very nice and has some lovely upgrades. When we had trouble with the Wi-Fi, we got a very prompt response from a lovely lady in the management office! Some downsides were the elevators in the building and just the outside of the building overall but they are in those areas as well. I would still highly recommend.!

Great place!

This is an amazing place, we loved our stay! Getting to the hotel was super easy! The room was clean and very nice, we loved the view from the balcony and from the bedroom! Most of the things we needed were offered, from beach essentials to kitchen utensils, food seasonings, dish soap, trash bags, toilet paper. We definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!

Love Indian Shores

We love Indian Shores and this is our second time staying at Sandcastle I. The condo is described accurately and has a great view. The only things we would change are- the water pressure is terrible and the mattress on the full bed needs to be replaced. Otherwise a great location and vacation spot.

Great condo on an amazing beach!

Our family of 4 stayed in this condo for one week in August and everything was great. The kitchen is well supplied, the condo was clean and well decorated. This unit has been recently renovated, which is definitely a big plus compared to other units at Sand Dollar. We enjoyed it's perfect location, facing the gulf of Mexico. Beautiful sunsets every evening!

We enjoyed our stay overall, although 2 of the tv’s in the condo were not functioning. Communication with the property manager was very efficient and helpful though! The beach equipment on the balcony was left a mess when we arrived. The cleanliness could be improved, we had to wear shoes inside when we arrived because the floors were not clean. Location and beach was great, cute little town!

Million dollar view!

The condo was beautiful and very clean. You can tell it has been recently remodeled. The beach access was so easy and not at all crowded which is what we really loved. A few minor maintenance issues were addressed swiftly. Would recommend. *****!

I read reviews to help me decide so hope this helps someone else. Overall our stay was great. A few minor inconveniences will probably keep me from staying again. The cleaning crew did not do a good job which I informed the management company of. They offered for them to come back but I had already cleaned it up.

Thanksgiving vacation

We had been awaiting our vacation for most of this year. We looked at a lot of rentals that fit the idea we had. Sandcastle 1 did not disappoint, everything in the condo was as described and more. The view was amazing, I found myself just sitting there looking with awe. Getting up early with my 5 year old watching the dolphins swim by was a great memory! The pool and hot tub were good as well, but being from Wisconsin we went to the beach the most! Wasn't over crowded, clean soft white sand, plenty of shells to pick up as well. Overall we had a 10 star vacation while staying here. Plenty of room for 6, full kitchen was useful and plenty of seating with million dollar views! Can't wait to go back!

Sandcastle I Review

The condo was nice. However, the listing is misleading. The bed in the small room by the door is not a full size bed. Bed was too small to be a full size bed. There was no coffee pot for the coffee maker. No iron was available either. Batteries in the remotes need to be replaced. Beach was very nice and pool area was nice as well.

Beautiful interior

The newly renovated condo was beautiful. The master bed was very uncomfortable, luckily the other beds were comfortable and available to use! The ocean view from the patio was spectacular with daily dolphin sightings. The kitchen appliances were gorgeous and the craft ice maker was super cool! The dryer was too squeaky to use when we were in the condo, there was a drainage issue that required a plumber but was addressed quickly. All the batteries in the remotes were dead or missing. We've stayed in sandcastle 1,2, 3 and this property wasn't as clean as the others- trash around pool often, rocks in pool and hot tub. Seems like a lot of complaints but overall it was a great stay.

Uncleaned filth poor management

Arrived. All bedding was marked up with fresh bodily fluids , hair , food debris on all beds. Trash on floor. Unswept in mopped un vaccumed. We cleaned the entire condo and washed all bedding. Substantail cleaning fee paid to walk into filth. Stayed seven days. Six of which 24/7 remodel going on above us. Banging grinding dragging all night long. I paid for a restful trip. I got the most miserable experience for thousands of dollars a family could have and although some of the owners employees tried to help, the owner was sarcastic, and standoffish refusing to do anything. Kevin you should be ashamed. Not even an apology. Beware this owners properties

Disappointed

The location of this property is fine and the views are great. The unit is need of much updating and needs a deep cleaning. The couch is so stained that we had to put towels and sheets over it to sit on it. The bench to the table was broke and caused a guest to fall to the floor. This was replaced 2 days later. The master bathroom toilet ran constantly but that was also fixed 2 days later. The top of the refrigerator was caked with dust, the coffee pot was so crusted with grime that a new one was brought, several dishes were not cleaned. We had to wash everything before using it. The wicker chairs and cushions are falling apart and couldn't be used. The non master bathroom had a leak under the sink and there was a towel wrapped around the pipe. This property looks better in pictures than in person. I don't think it was worth the money based off the condition of the unit. I would not recommend nor will I rent this unit again. Sorry
