Katoomba hidden gem

Lovely accommodation, happy to stay there again. Non paved access lane is to be taken carefully in a low clearance car but for most won’t be an issue.

The house had everything we needed. Bed was comfortable. Shower pressure was great. We needed some heat and the heat pump warmed the place up nicely. The only downsides are that the sink in the bathroom doesn’t drain at all well, the driveway could be difficult for some people to manage and, while it was nice and quiet during the day and at night, the traffic noise from the highway is loud early in the morning. Other than those 3 things, we had a great stay.

We had a good time at the cottage, I did think it was a little closer to town but the walk was good. We had all we needed and the beds were comfy and a comfortable space

Not the best location - terrible access - warning required!

Access via laneway would be impossible for most cars, difficult to access property. Fortunately we had a 4wd that was able to get us there. Gardens and lawn require maintenance. Property was clean and had everything we needed, comfy double bed but single bed heads not attached and wobbled annoyingly. The used piece of soap left in the shower soap dish was also a little disturbing. A little too small - No room to open wardrobe doors fully in the bedroom. Tv reception also not great and building construction right next door started at 7am with quite a bit of noise- not the fault of the host, but not good just the same - no warning we were near a construction site.
