About the home
"Riptide @ Cape Woolamai" is a delightful family friendly 2 story home, with rural and water views, close to the beach in Cape Woolamai, and a short drive to the restaurants, cafe's and supermarket of Cape Woolamai. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:
Indoor Areas
Downstairs you will find bedrooms 2 and 3 (each with BIR), a fully equipped Laundry (with washing machine & clothes dryer), and a Bathroom (with bath & shower) and a separate Toilet.
Upstairs is the large open plan Kitchen/Dining/Living room (with smart TV & Fetch and DVD player) which provides access to the upstairs front Balcony. There are lovely water glimpses from the upstairs Living room and Balcony. Bedroom 1 is also upstairs, with WIR and ensuite (with shower and toilet) as well as a wall mounted TV.
Outdoor Areas
The enclosed block is perfect for kids and the large covered Balcony at the front of the home is great for entertaining with BBQ and an outdoor setting as well as some lounges, overlooking a fantastic rural setting of the Phillip Island airstrip (no longer in use). There’s an outdoor hot/cold shower on the side of the house, and the long driveway on the side of the house provides parking for at least 4 vehicles (cars and/or a boat).
Kitchen
The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and gas cook top.
Heating/Cooling Systems
There’s a reverse cycle air-conditioner in the upstairs open plan living area, plus wall mounted electric heaters in bedrooms 2 and 3. There are also ceiling fans in the living room as well as all bedrooms.

Bedroom 1 (Upstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Double bed and One set of Single bunks
Linen
It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.
Peak Periods
Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm (unless by prior arrangement). Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.
Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies
Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
