3 - If you plan on disturbing the neighbours. Excessive noise will not be tolerated.

BOOKING POLICY:
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.

A 100% refund is provided for travellers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travellers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travellers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in. CanadaStays Booking Fees are refundable if you cancel within 48 hours of placing your booking request.

SATELLITE INTERNET: Please Note: The satellite internet service, you probably know that you are pulling your signal from a satellite in the sky. But what you may not know is that your satellite needs to make a stop at a gateway on land before it gets to you. There are times when the weather can get extreme – even if you are not around to see it. If there is a strong storm pushing its way up the Eastern seaboard, it is possible that the satellite signal between the gateway and the satellite could be interrupted by heavy rain, snow, or whatever else mother nature throws our way. Even if it is bright and sunny in Mille-Isles, you could still experience degraded service due to weather, because the gateway is located in another location.

OTHER THINGS TO KNOW:
There are portable AC units set up during the summer season. Before operating the AC, be sure that all thermostats in the rooms are set to zero as they are for HEAT only and all windows and doors are closed. HOUSE RULES:
- No smoking indoors. Please do not leave cigarette butts on the ground. Please put in designated metal cans for disposal.
- No pets
- Please NO shoes in the house
- Don't leave garbage outside. Garbage must be placed inside the garbage and recycling bins on the corner of Chartier and Tamarracoutta.
- There are 2 security camera located outside on the property (facing the front and facing the back. Tampering with the camera will incur additional fees
- Firewood not included. When you are done with the fire, use the "Drown, Stir, and Feel" method to ensure all embers are dead. Never leave a fire unattended or try to bury it with just dirt, as it can continue to smoulder and cause wildfires!
- Propane not included. Propane tank is available to fill.
- Please conserve WATER. Our water comes from a well. If too much water is used in a short period of time, the water pressure will be reduced.

We had a nice stay at this cottage. The place was very clean and the surroundings were beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. It’s a great spot to enjoy nature and spend some peaceful time away from the city. One small note is that the cooking pots are a bit old, so bringing your own cookware might be helpful if you plan to cook. Also, the toilet can clog quite easily, so it just needs to be used with a little extra care. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and we enjoyed our time here.

Family getaway and ski trip

We had a wonderful time at this home! Our expectations were exceeded and Sam was an excellent host. We loved that we were close to some great ski hills, cross country ski trails and some amazing skating trails and hockey rinks. What a beautiful area to explore in the winter!

Great value for families

This was an awesome location for our March break ski trip at Saint Sauveur. It’s clean and spacious with comfortable beds and the kitchen had everything we needed. Sam’s excellent communication made arrival and checkout easy as well. This was perfect for our group of families with kids under 10.

Overall stay was great. Inside the home was clean and spacious and exactly what we needed for our large family. However there was a mess of items left by the front door that should have been removed before our arrival. Unfortunately it was there to greet us throughout our stay. That being said, hopefully this was an anomaly and shouldn't be a concern moving forward. Everything else about the stay met expectations.

Property was overall good and no issues with the host or accessing the property. All was clean and ready for us. There were a number of areas within the cottage that were quite worn (wobbly chairs, broken air registers, kitchen drawers not fitting) which are minor so have little impact on the stay. However when there the well water level was low so we could see reduction in water pressure and therefore minimal confidence to have a shower as might run out of water. When renting a space you don’t expect to have to conserve utilities (beyond the reasonable amount any home owner would already be doing). Price point was very good too so while points deducted per above overall this stay was good value.

Lacrossee Weekend

Our grand daughter had a provincial tournament in Saint-Eustauche. 10 family and friends stayed in the house. It was perfect for our group. About a 40 minute drive. We were able to do all of our cooking etc at the house and the bedrooms were great and the two bathrooms worked very well. Thanks for the stay, Al Watt

The coolest stay

This is the best place to stay if you are coming to montreal with your friends. The place was very clean neat and just the best spot around montreal. i was so happy with the host and the house.we all had a wonderful time here.if you wish a nice place to stay near montreal this is one of the best place you will get around. i would love to recommand this place to my freinds or anyone who ask me a good spot to stay in montreal. The swimming pool was splendid and wonderful.The only suggestion i can give to the host is that if there are more lights in the backyard area near swimming pool and behind it would be so wonderful also i am hoping a fenced backyard with some mesh or wires .we wished we could have stayed here longer than a night beacuse the place is worth much more and to discover nearby areas.

After being cramped in a Montreal hotel room for three nights, it was a welcome stay for our family of five to spread out and have space to themselves. We were looking for proximity to the ski hill, beds and a kitchen. The house itself wasn't spectacular, but we usually don't use rentals for the "wow" factor, we use them for space and efficiency. A bit of a disappointment was the lack of Queen or King bed on the main sleeping floor. For the first time in 20 years, my husband and I slept in single beds. This is an easy fix, the updated posting should reflect this change.

AVOID Absolutely!

COCKROACHES on the kitchen counter! Supposed to be AC but actually it’s a portable AC fit for 1-2 rooms and dusty fans to blow the air, cobwebs all over the place… Absolutely disgusting, we actually left 1 day earlier at our own expense and rented a room at a hotel nearby!

Milles-Isles - Disappointing

Overall, we were quite disappointed with the condition of this property. Its an older property and it needs some serious rennovations. The kitchen was lacking in ustensils; the inside of the drawers were not very clean and we had some critters on the counter top. The listing says it has A/C but note that its just 1 window unit and it will not cool the bedrooms. The basement had a very moldy smell. On the outside, the terrance if spacious and the pool was clean and heated. There is a stand alone garage on the property which we were not allowed to use so if you have bikes (or skis in the winter) you may need to bring them inside.
