Very good

My wife and I stayed a month so we got to know how the place worked or sometimes didn’t.
First the good. The house is wonderfully situated high over the bay. The views from the principal rooms are truly stunning especially those from the master suite. The whole place is very spacious. The pool is wonderful. There is a very good shopping mall about 10 minutes drive and you can walk down to a nice beach. There are some quite good restaurants a short drive away, the best is probably Harbour House.
Next the bad. The drive is so steep that you can’t drive a saloon car up to the garage. Getting the luggage up the drive then up further steps to the front door and finally up two flights of steep stairs is challenging. Anyone with mobility issues should definitely avoid this property. Although the pool is lovely , it is exposed to the prevailing winds and there is no shelter. Also the outdoor area has no sun shades or umbrella and it can be unbearably hot on the patio especially in the mornings. What outdoor furniture there is could best be described as rustic.
And then there was the ugly. The washing machine and the spin drier located in the garage would have been more at home in the local museum. The washing machine finally broke down and when , after a week, a repair man arrived he said he could not get spares immediately for something so old. We were not surprised and took our dirty washing with us.
