We loved our stay at this kiwi bach. Kitchen was fully equipped, rooms and beds were comfortable and space well laid out. Hot water cylinder needed replacing while we were there- communication was good and job completed promptly. View was spectacular and lots of walks and sights to see locally. Would recommend to other family groups.
Loved our stay at Ngawi. The bach is very comfortable and homely. Weather wasn't great but that really didn't matter.
Would highly recommend this as a place to relax and enjoy life.
Very clean older bach that reminded me of my Grannys house, so cosy. Well heated with the two heaters. A short walk to the beach. The views from the bedroom and deck were amasing looking at the wild sea! Loved everything about our short stay! We will be back. Thank you for sharing your lovely bach with us!
Well located in a small fishing village, nice neighbours, no fuss basic accommodation. Even a moderately stocked larder which was helpful as there are no food shops in Ngawi. Would recommend. Owner Kim is helpful.
We enjoyed our stay. We were a bit surprised there was no washing machine, but we were able to do washing at the Waimea camp ground.
When we arrived there was a really strong smellof cat pee coming from the toilet. It disipated once we aired the place a bit, but wasnt a good first impression.
Classic Kiwi Bach and it's great location and views. The house was a bit hard to find at first but you drive down a shared driveway at number 27 and you can't miss it.
Beds are comfortable, don't forget to bring towels and a sleeping bag or double sheets. The kitchen is an easy workspace and has everything you need.
The house is a great base camp for families or groups for trips and adventure
This Bach is perfect for any occasion.
I booked us the Bach for the males to go out over a weekend for a dive, fish and throw out some cray pots while us ladies enjoyed the view, drinks and food.
The kitchen has absolutely everything you need. Everyone who has stayed have too added bits and pieces.
Very spacious Bach. View of the water is amazing BUT the stars on a good night stunning!!!
Even a guest book to sign.
Would recommend booking to absolutely everyone.
Plenty of space to spread out, great balcony & view
Nice and cosy. A bit hard to find bach and not numbered clearly and steep drive to back down, unfortunately heavy rain at time. The water pump was turning on & off frequently 24 hours. Smoke alarm not on ceiling, let on top of fridge. The insurance would be invalid. Overall a great stay. Thank you
We felt we left the Bach in a cleaner condition than we found it. There were mouse droppings under the couch swabs. The vacuum cleaner had not been emptied and was completely full. We were not told there was no washing machine, with small children this was an issue.
It was a nice stay and we would stay there again.
