Gorgeous Two Bedroom Modern Farmhouse Cottage

Conveniently located in the pumpjack capital of Texas, A.L. Cottages' Wilson House is a beautifully decorated 2 bedroom/1 bath home featuring modern farmhouse decor and amenities. Wonderfully located across the street from the Electra City Park and just about a mile from everywhere in town! If you’re missing a little bit of city life, Wichita Falls is just a short drive away! Bring your pets! $25 non refundable pet fee.

Bedrooms:
You'll sleep soundly in the two high quality queen beds with warm, breathable, and comfortable bedding. Each room is equipped with blackout curtains to keep rooms nice and dark! You can stay entertained because each bedroom is equipped with 43" Smart TV with Roku and Guest Mode.

Kitchen:
The wonderful open floor plan kitchen overlooks the living room is perfect for conversing or watching your favorite program on the living room's 55" Smart TV equipped with Roku and Guest Mode. Beautiful stainless steel appliances give the kitchen a beautiful clean look. A large rustic center island with two industrial stools is great for providing extra storage, counter space, and a rustic feel. Enjoy a fully stocked coffee bar with a variety of coffees, teas, and hot chocolates at any time. You don't need to bring anything from home, the kitchen is supplied with cookware, dishware, and silverware!

Bathroom:
Enjoy the large walk-in shower with two sliding glass doors and the built-in shower dispenser! Get ready for bed or the day ahead with a superbly lit and stocked sink area with a vessel sink! Get dry and clean with high-quality towels, washcloths, hand towels, and special black makeup washcloths!

Laundry:
Staying multiple days? We have a high capacity washer and dryer with a built-in folding area and hanging rod for delicates!

Living Room:
The living room has an open floor plan connecting with the kitchen! Perfect for conversations or watching the food cook while watching your favorite programs on the 55" Smart TV with Roku and Guest Mode! Rest easy on two comfortable slate grey wing back chairs and a rustic leather love seat that are wonderfully accommodating!

Deck:
The full length of the house string lit deck offers a living room style seating area perfect for the morning coffee or just a leisurely evening.

Firepit/Grill:
Enjoy the custom built firepit/grill with four adirondack chairs!

Front Porch:
The front porch is equipped with two relaxing adirondack chairs to watch the sunset or watch the your kids play at the park across the street.

Why they chose this property

A.L. Cottages' Wilson house has been through it all just about! This once abandoned property was purchased for the City of Electra for $1500 by Anthony Lynn in early 2018. Anthony spent lots of time and money redesigning and remodeling the Wilson house to make it one of Electra's first short term rental properties. Anthony traveled back and forth to his hometown of Electra while in the Air Force and working as a hotelier in OKC. He and his family always had to get a hotel room in Wichita Falls but longed to be in Electra close to family. Anthony also wanted to assist the community by providing an excellent place for other fellow Electrans to stay when visiting. Come stay in this beautifully remodeled and decorated property located in the pumpjack capital of Texas!
