Although a shorter stay we were very happy to find this place. Close proximity to everything. Great view from both decks. One screened and the other deck open were great places to sit and relax. Host was very easy to contact and quick to reply and went above and beyond to make our stay very comfortable and memorable. Will pick this location again when we return to the Blue Ridge area.

We had a great time the cabin was clean and comfortable. The enclosed porch with the rockers was the best, enjoyed our morning coffee. Visited Blue Ridge where we boarded the train for our 4 hour trip. Would recommend this cabin and hope to return in the future.

Relax
This was our 2nd stay here. Just as great as the first. Had all we needed, we enjoyed the sounds of the creek and also the peace and quiet while sitting on the porch. Will be staying here again.
This was our 2nd stay here. Quiet and cozy. Enjoyed the river sounds as we sat out on the porch. The cabin had all we needed and the response from the staff was great. It’s not the Biltmore, but very nice. We’ll be staying there again.
My wife and I rented this cabin for the Valentine's Day weekend, and we couldn't have been happier. It's a beautiful little cabin, perfect for a couple or even a small group to get away from hectic day-to-day life. We loved the screened-in porch that lets you relax to the sound of the nearby rushing creek. Highly recommended!
We had a great time. My mother is 80 and the property was easily accessible for her. She really enjoyed the screen porch! Saw deer and a bear!

nice cabin
very quite comfortable cabin. only problem we had was the T.V.'s....if you are electronically knowledgeable you might not have a problem but we are a 65yr and 80yr ladies so tv's did us no good.
The property was very nice and the location was great. Was an easy drive to most places we visited during our stay. Our ONLY complaint - Someone had washed some of the towels with a blue blanket or rug and the first night we ended up with blue "fuzz" all over us. We were able to figure out it was not all the towels, so we made sure to get some that were not covered in blue fuzz after that.

Liked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
Pros: Close to blue ridge scenic railway station and restaurants. Convenient location. Spacious place. Cons: no dishwasher. Comforters, pillows and stuffed animals definitely need cleaning (several of us started to sneeze and have red eyes)

Peaceful Retreat
Very few cabins live up to their advertisements. Whispering Creek was even better than advertised. The cabin was spacious, clean and well furnished. The surroundings were peaceful and allowed for a relaxing vacation. We brought a hummingbird feeder and were thrilled that it attracted numerous hummingbirds. We preferred to cook at the cabin but enjoyed a couple of meals in easily accessible nearby towns. Overall, it was a great place for a much needed get-together with old friends. We hope to return in the future.

Whispering Creek
3 siblings and 2 in-laws enjoyed a special few days together at this delightful cabin in the mountain woods. The location and accommodations are super except for the tiny kitchen and eating area. Eating was a hassle as one had to move if someone wanted in the refrigerator otherwise it was one of the best we have rented. We would seriously consider look into renting again in the future. The wildlife was also a special treat.
We enjoyed our stay. As others have posted only one bedroom has a closet. We were 2 couples, if a 3rd couple would have been there...would have been problem with no closets in 2 bedrooms (maybe add one in the corner or unlock the closet in the one bedroom. Thankful for the property manager; her directions were great!! We came in late and the roads are winding and dark, so thanks DJ for your help! I would recommend a dishwasher, especially with the way things are now...not knowing if the previous people were as I am with super hot water to wash dishes was a thought. Love the porches and beds are very comfortable, water was nice and hot.
Property is beautiful. While we were there, we had storms and experienced two power outages. While this is just normal happenings, we wanted to report it and wasn't sure who to call. The contact info in the book provided was incorrect. We spoke with a lady who stated she did not manage that property anymore and didn't know why her name was still listed. I would just suggest updating the book.
Otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay.
