Tranquility abounds in one of the quietest streets in Bonaire's highest end neighborhood of Sabadeco, but Villa Serena is still perfectly located just a 5 minute drive from resorts and popular dive sites, and 10 minutes away from the downtown area.
Rolling shutters in the living area and kitchen at this private oasis villa bring a new meaning to open concept and outdoor living.
The innovative design really brings the wild freedom of Bonaire's nature to you, and also provides serious security, locking the entire house at the touch of a button. Coupled with our alarm system, you can feel comfortable and safe in Villa Serena.
The entire living area opens up to reveal an expansive vista of the salt mountains in the south, untouched countryside to the North, and over the turquoise water and white sand beaches of Klein Bonaire, once you look beyond your own tropical garden filled with local plants, parrots and hummingbirds! Whatever the time of day, you will enjoy this view, whether with your morning coffee, evening sun-downers or grilling under the stars.
From the king sized bed in the master suite, wake up with an ocean view, then check out the islands country side with the green view from your walk in closet and en suite bathroom.
A second en suite master also has a king size bed and en-suite, and the 2nd (king) and 3rd (2 twin) bedrooms have jack and jill access to the 3d bathroom.
The 2nd master has a large comfy futon which can be made for beds 9 and 10. The master has a day bed which can be made into 2 kids beds.
Villa Serena is equipped with double rinse tanks and plenty of lockable and ventilated hanging space. Parking spaces are also gated at the villa, room for 3 vehicles. Your private pool and garden are maintained every week.

Great Experience

Bonaire was awesome, this was our first trip there for our group of 7 adults! The house made the trip even better, we loved waking up and opening the garage doors to let the air flow through the house. The deck and pool were perfect ways to spend the afternoon. Kristen was a huge help prior to our arrival and communication was great, she helped with our car rental and diving reservations. The kitchen had everything we needed and the bedroom layout worked great for our group.. The dive area was great for rinsing, cleaning, and storing our snorkel gear.

Dive vacation

Liked the open air layout of the house, great view, nice breeze, nice for the northern dive sites. Host answered all questions quickly. Has solar hot water which is very hot and plentiful unless one in your group takes a long shower after a night dive and doesn’t tell anybody. Water was still warm enough though!

Spectacular villa

Perched on the top of the hill in Sabadeco, a couple of miles north of Kralendijk. The neighborhood is all villas, no businesses of any kind, and no local “color,” which is abundant everywhere else on the island. Wonderful ocean views, but it is perhaps a kilometer away from the shore. It’s a drive, not a walk. Elegantly decorated, and as the photos show, the kitchen, living and dining areas are all outdoors, not climate controlled. There’s a ceiling fan, but it’s broken. They’ve provided an oscillating floor fan, but it’s not a perfect substitute. Overall wonderful spot, very peaceful except for the riotous parrots that live nearby.
