Nice ski house
Nice house it had everything we needed . We would rent it again .
Thank you Edwin,
You and your group are always welcome at my house. You left it in great shape and you were easy to deal with. I wish you the best, Randy.
Awesome main level
Family ski weekend. We loved the woodburning stove, the location, and the large open main level. Space was great for cooking, family dinners & games. We had an awesome first trip to Sugarbush! Thank you!
I am glad you and your family had a nice time. The snow has been good this winter so the skiing will last well into spring.please be in touch in the future if you need a place to stay, Thanks again, Randy.
Good House, Great Trip!
House is as pictured. Luckily had good snow so ski in/out was no problem. Communication with host was fine except for trash removal procedure at check out. Good house for casual ski trip.
I would rate this property a 4.5 stars if it would let me. Most everything about this property is positive and I highly recommend it but there are a few items that renters should know up front. First the positive - The chalet had beautiful views of the mountains and slopes. Nice wood stove and plenty of wood supplied. Also has a nice mud room for equipment. House was clean and perfect as a family vacation spot. Plenty of room for 10 people. The negatives - no towels supplied which makes it hard for anyone flying in. It is not a true ski in/ski out place. You can ski in but the house is at the end of the run. You have to cross a road and try to find your way through other houses and paths to ski to the base or you have to walk on the road to get there. On your way in make sure to pick up extra toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags for a larger party. The bunk beds are meant for small adults or children. Not sure how secure they are with tie downs around the posts. As you can see the negatives are very minor if you know them up front. We all definitely want to come back and stay here. Again, the views far outweigh any negatives.
Thanks for the review. I have had problems with towels disappearing so I do not supply them unless you request them, something I don't have a problem with for folks that fly in, etc. like you mentioned. I have plenty of paper towels and toilet paper, they are in the mud room closet, like I mentioned, just reach out if you needed anything, I respond in minutes. As far as the ski in out, like I mention, its a natural snow trail so it depends on that. I wish you reached out, I could have walked you through the easy way to the lifts. Anyway, thanks again for the feedback, I am always trying to improve the guest experience and we look forward to seeing you in the future, Randy.
Great home, retro-feel, close to the mountain
House was spacious and clean. We liked the bedroom set-up and the views of the mountain were wonderful. Host was communicative and very easy to deal with. There wasn't enough snow for us to determine whether this is truly ski-on / ski-off, but it was a very close drive to the base lodge.
Thank you for respecting my home, your group was great to host and I would highly recommend renting to you in the future. Thanks again and maybe next time you will have better snow conditions, Randy.
Worked well, but is it really ski-in, ski-out?
Very nice home, worked well for us, however, we really didn't find the ski-in and ski-out as practical; even our expert skiers found it difficult and inconvenient, and we all just drove to the lifts. And one minor thing, no salt and pepper.
Glad you had a good time, my wife and I do our best to make sure our guests have a great stay, this includes a pre check in conversation via phone to go over check in procedure and details about the house, etc. One of the things I went over with you is that I have everything to cook with, pots, pans, silverware and plates to serve, and that you would need all ingredients, including spices, salt and pepper, etc.to cook with, sometimes folks leave salt and pepper behind, and like I thought, my cleaner found multiple sallt and pepper shakers in a cabinet when I asked her about it today. I also make clear that my house is on a trail called Village Run, a natural snow trail with no snowmaking. I told you in our phone conversation that if you had any trouble at all with anything, including how to ski to the lifts, just call or text me and I would easily guide you through it. All that being said, some folks just drive one minute to the parking lot and make that the starting point, especially if someone in the group doesn't ski and if skiing mid week when it is slow. Thanks again for your comments and I will double my efforts with guests pre check in to ensure they have a clearer understanding of our house and its highlights.
