The home was in a great location and the check in process was very easy. Communication with Sean was excellent. My family and I enjoyed our stay in this wonderful home.
This place was so ideal for our family getaway. Highly recommend. Great set up and the boat ramp and jetty was ideal for our boats. Very accommodating and owner checked in to see if all good. Very lovely people. House was very spacious and views are amazing. Will be staying again
The location was great and at the same time being pet friendly made it a rare find. Views of the lake and being able to fish from backyard was awesome. Down side were the online photos were from a few years ago and the property is overdue for some updates.
We loved the location of this property. We just backed the boat in and enjoyed the weekend fishing. Plenty of seating in the lounge with a huge tv. Giant dinning table for our bbq dinners. Fabulous garden area for activities and relaxing with water views. We would love to book this place again.
Older house in prime position with plenty of room for everyone. Could not get a better location to stay and enjoy the lake. We enjoyed the ease of boat ramp and jetty. Fishing, kayaking with family from the backyard. Heaps of room inside and out. Fabulous view of the lake from kitchen table and bedrooms.
This property is in a great spot and the boat ramp and jetty are great. That’s it. You’d be better off bringing a caravan and parking it on site - as long as you didn’t have animals or kids who walked on prickle-ridden grass. The upstairs air conditioners won’t run without tripping the fuse; the outdoor furniture was so disgusting we used our own camp chairs; the upstairs shower only has hot water; there’s no instruction booklet on how to use anything; the house was riddled with spiders because it’s covered in cobwebs; not sure the last time the outside has been maintained; dead bird and broken chairs on the upstairs balcony; no insect screens on windows or doors so good luck trying to get any air into the upstairs rooms that can’t have aircons on consecutively; and for paying 1000 a night you don’t even get any tea or coffee. This was an utter disappointment.

Annual family holiday
Overall, the property was ideally located with an excellent boat ramp and two jetty’s. The house is older than expected and needs a fresh coat of paint and a thorough cleaning inside and out. There is cobwebs everywhere and has obviously been neglected for some time. It’s an okay house but don’t expect too much.

no linen, sheets, towels or wood for fire
There are no sheets, pillow cases, doona covers supplied. We had to buy some when we got there. You could bring sleeping bags and your own pillows if aware of this. No wood supplied even though this was discussed prior. Again I would have brought some if needed. Poor communication from owner

I have never been cat fished so badly.. this property was looking ok in the pictures and location was ok too until you finally get the actual address just days before your stay and it’s no where near where you want to be. The property was very unclean and totally run down with parts of the structure falling apart and in desperate need of repair or at least a tidying up. The furniture was out of the 70s and disgusting. The gardens were unkept and the lawn wasn’t even mowed. Luckily the only thing going for the place was that it backed on to the lake. I better not get any sort of extra charges for this property because we had to clean up the mess that was already there when we arrived.

sorry you felt that way Jamie. Can you send pictures please regarding what you believe was unclean ?
my cleaners were in and I inspected the property a few days beforehand so I am unsure what the issue is.
I also sent you a text with the address and keycode information a few days before like everyone else and I have never had a complaint.
The lawns were done on the Monday so 4 days before you entered the property. We have had a tonne of rain and alot of sun so they can grow pretty quickly :)
We only charge if you break something !
again sorry to hear you are unhappy.
Regards Sean
We come to Mulwala every year for a family getaway
We love to book and stay at a holiday house on the water.
This place is clean, comfortable & the host is most welcoming and easy to communicate with
But unfortunately we probably won’t stay here again.
We just felt a little on top of each other.
Beds and rooms are all very close to each other, even though the beds were clean and comfortable they were very loose so they would squeak every time you moved.
The floor boards creek to hear everyone’s movements.
We had issues with the fuses blowing every time we tried to dry our hair.
The spa bath didn’t work
The toilet upstairs was leaking
And we had no gas in the BBQ gas bottle.
Very old run down place but would be amazing brought back to it’s beautiful self
These are minor issues but considering we pay a good amount to stay I would probably expect it to be a little better
Even though we had a good time away.
I would probably recommend for Bucks party’s or a small family or friends gathering
If you only want to stay for the weekend
I’d say it a 2 1/2 - 3 star holiday house
