Whether you are here for the skiing/ snowboarding, the mountain biking or hiking such as the Tongariro Crossing, there is plenty to occupy you in this mountain town. Turoa is just 25 minutes to the carpark. Whakapapa and the new Sky Waka gondola are 40 minutes away while Tongariro Chateau is 35 minutes away perfect for a relaxing high tea.
