Construction issues

Great home... however we were extremely disappointed when Monday morning came and we were woken up by construction, no one wants to be woken up early especially not sleeping babies, and while on Vacation . Three days in a row woken up by construction, on the second day we left to go to the grocery store and were blocked out having to climb through rocks and dirt to get into the house... leaving our car in the street... to find out from the construction workers that the owner was notified of the construction and was aware.... the house was still rented.... When we tried to reach the contact for the home no answer. We paid a lot of money to stay, only vacation of the year for our family....

Hi there, the homeowners have asked us to share this response: Thank you for your recent visit, and we apologize for the road construction noise. The city of Prescott has been working to replace the water main along the main road for the past three months; however, they have been extremely accommodating to residents to allow access to all driveways during this project. We contacted the city immediately upon reading your review to ensure access to the home is not blocked and received assurances from the contractor that driveways will continue to be accessible. We also apologize that your phone call for assistance was not answered, as we strive to always respond timely to any guest inquiries. The street project is expected to be completed early this year, and we hope you will give us another opportunity. Thanks again.

Very nice house and neighborhood.

Beautiful house with great view. Very close to shopping, including Costco and close to Lynx lake. Well stocked kitchen and quality finishes throughout the house. Great deck to eat meals on and enjoy the view. The microwave oven is very high, so difficult to use. Each time we tried to use the toaster, even though there was no smoke, the heat set off the fire alarm. Moving the toaster to a different location might fix that issue. The large bedroom window would not close enough to latch. We had problems getting the front door lock to open.

Family vacation

My husband and two sons (20’s) stayed here for 4 nights. This is a beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood. The home has everything we needed and more! That master bedroom shower! Great after a long day of hiking. I would stay here again and highly recommend to others.

Discovering Prescott area Lakes

Although we have been to Prescott before, this was our longest stay and we got to truly appreciate all the outdoor activities in the area. The house is perfectly located, close to all the lakes in the area with beautiful mountain view from the large back deck just off the family room. The play room downstairs was great; it allowed us to rest, play, and unwind after hiking.

Quiet house driving distance to many things

Short drive to both Prescott and Prescott Valley. Close to restaurants and shopping. The house was perfect with plenty of towels and dishes. The only thing I would recommend is having some plastic glasses available for families with children. The three decks were great to sit on and have morning coffee or evening cocktails. We walked the quiet neighborhood in the mornings too. The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. There are many family games in the basement that we enjoyed too. I would highly recommend and would stay here again.

A Wonderful Getaway!!

Our family had a wonderful weekend getaway in this great home. It is updated and clean - very welcoming. Lots of space to spread out and enjoy time together. The view from the back deck is amazing. We loved the games that were available and the mulitple TVs. The only suggestions we would make would be - 1 - to have more seating on the deck - we wanted to all hang out there several different times, but with only 2 chairs and 6 of us, most of our family had to stand or sit on the deck. A table out there would have been really nice to enjoy eating meals outside together. 2 - more seating in the gathering areas; we have 6 people in our family (no one under 15 yrs of age) and it was difficult for us to comfortably all sit together and watch a movie or just talk/hang out. We loved the home and would recommend it to others we know that are heading to the Prescott area. Thank you, Shawna Pryor

Prescott getaway

Our family enjoyed a nice little getaway. The accommodations were great! Awesome location, clean home with plenty of room with a beautiful view from the family room. Communication with owners were also great!
