Its an amazing property, in a great location, that accomodated my family perfectly. There are some things that need some attention, that i'll inform the property manager of, but they are minor.
We had a lovely time. The house is beautiful and had plenty of room for my large family. This is our second time staying there. It was disappointing that we had to go buy toilet paper and paper towels. Normally that stuff is provided. That is our only complaint. We would stay there again.
We had a great stay at this very large log cabin. The pictures makes it look like it is set back in the woods but it is right up against Highway 93.
Lots of space and big rooms. The bunkhouse room could sleep 10 easily but they all need to sleep in the same big room. The dining r room is huge and has a bar. Great place for gathering and a big card game.
Pretty well stocked kitchen. The linens and towels are really well used, tired and should be refreshed.
We skied Lost Trail Powder Mountain which is a gem - great snow. So the very clean and easily accessible hot tub was a joy.

Liked: Check-in, communication
Disliked: Cleanliness
Property can accommodate a large group with plenty of spaces to spread out.
Bathroom rugs were dirty. Both refrigerators were dirty(garage fridge was especially nasty). No hand soap or kleenex.(pump containers had water added to them). Dishwasher was dirty and coffee pot had dirty coffee water in it. Rancid, sticky bottles of cooking oil above microwave. Only 2 extra tall kitchen trash bags. Thow blanket had debris stuck in fabric. Downstairs queen bed had many bleach stains and small holes. Upstairs primary bedroom doesn't have a working shade. Not ALL smoke alarms are functioning. Please check for guest safety! There were worms downstairs in carpet & area going to garage. Yucky!!

Hi Robin, thank you for sharing your feedback about your stay. After reading your review, the homeowner wanted to address the following concerns:- The rugs, blankets, and linens are washed for each guest, and some normal wear is expected.- The kitchen appliances are cleaned between guests, but as they are not replaced after each stay, signs of use are normal.- The bedroom shade is functioning, and we regularly check smoke detectors, but we weren’t notified of any battery issues during your stay.- We do not have worms in the house; small millipedes may enter due to the remote location, and we would have gladly addressed it if informed.- Trash bags and soap are provided as a courtesy, and the soap is not diluted. We appreciate your review, as it helps us improve the guest experience.
Beautiful property in a great location, which made our trip all that much better. We would easily stay here again! The deer coming up to us at night in the backyard was an added bonus:)
The property was beautiful and so peaceful. The town was really cool and all the people were super friendly which helped us relax alot more from being nervous. The city wasn't to far away either and it's a nice scenic drive. We saw different animals everyday and there were plenty of activities for the kids. It was truly stunning and amazing!!

Great Home - Not So Clean
6 of us. House was great with a beautiful scenery. A lot of steps and stairs. Upstairs, downstairs, and outside steps. We had a great time. Snowed all day one day. Hated to go back to the Texas heat.
The only reason to ever leave this property is to venture out into what Montana has to offer that most other states don't. Both were beautiful and will definitely return!

Large home in Sula MT
Great location for us close to my son's property in Conner. Authentic Montana home. Loved the fireplaces and used the large dinner for a big breakfast and for my granddaughters 7th birthday. Great time for our family. Manger was great. Renee responded immediately to all our questions.

The Perfect Cabin!
When you're with a group of guys that have been getting together every year for the past 47 years in a row to go fly fishing and to cook gourmet meals, you know we've seen every type of accommodation possible. Some have been EXCELLENT and some have been OK. Our stay this past week in the Bitterroot Valley Cabin would be in the EXCELLENT category for sure! Plenty of comfortable beds, ample bathrooms, nice kitchen and pantry, 2 refrigerators, a banquet table for the 8 of us, located right across the street from the Bitterroot River.....who could ask for more?
Manager, Renee, was SO ACCOMMODATING and easy to work with. I can't thank her enough for her help.
2 very minor things that need attention.....More steak knives...only 3 available.....and the BBQ could stand a good cleaning and new grills. They were pretty badly worn out. Other than those two items, the kitchen was very well stocked with glassware, silverware, pots and pans, knives, bowls. Would have been nice to have an inexpensive electric hand mixer...but we made due with a whisk.
One final note....just FYI.....for anyone with "balance issues".....getting to the downstairs rooms is NOT an easy task.....and even a bit dangerous. Handrails would be a wonderful addition.
This was a beautiful spot! The house was beautiful and had so many extras like the heated kitchen floor, upgraded kitchen supplies and hot tub. Great place for a mountain getaway. We loved the town of Darby and even got to meet the owner who stocks the pond with trout and tales wonderful care of this kid house.
Perfect location for us to come back to each evening from our family reunion at a nearby campground. The house was very comfortable, well-stocked, and beautiful. We all especially loved the pond and fountain!! Thank you!
This house was perfect. There was a bedroom on the main floor so my parents didn’t have to use the stairs. So perfect for us. Because of this house, we had a wonderful family weekend.
