Welcome to Oasia Costa Rica, a private rainforest estate above Uvita with ocean and jungle views. Designed for multigenerational families, groups of friends, and intimate retreats, Oasia offers space to gather together while giving guests the privacy of separate elemental units.

THE ESTATE
The property spans roughly four lush acres and includes 9 air-conditioned bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. It comfortably sleeps 18 guests; up to 20 can be accommodated when the two additional living-room sleeping spaces are used.

SLEEPING LAYOUT
• Wood Unit: 1 king bedroom with private bathroom
• Water Unit: 1 king bed plus 1 Twin XL alcove bed, with private bathroom
• Air Unit: 1 queen bedroom with expansive jungle and ocean views; uses the main-house bathroom and outdoor shower
• Fire A + B: 1 queen bedroom in each room; shared full bathroom
• Metal A + B: 2 Twin XL beds in each room, convertible to king setups; shared full bathroom
• Rock A + B: 1 queen bedroom in each room; shared full bathroom
• Two additional living-room sleeping spaces are available when needed

GATHER & REST
Enjoy the central pool, cold plunge, open-air yoga and meditation deck, hammocks, indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a fully equipped main kitchen. High-speed Wi-Fi, work-friendly corners, laundry facilities, and secure on-site parking make longer group stays comfortable.

IDEAL FOR
Oasia works especially well for family reunions, groups of friends, wellness retreats, yoga groups, and retreat leaders seeking a private nature-based venue. The sweet spot is 8–14 guests, with flexibility for larger family and friend groups.

LOCATION
The estate is about 10–15 minutes from Uvita, Marino Ballena National Park, Playa Uvita, and the Whale's Tail. Playa Hermosa, Dominical, waterfalls, jungle hikes, restaurants, and adventure experiences are within easy reach. Monkeys, toucans, butterflies, and other rainforest wildlife are regular visitors.

OPTIONAL SERVICES
Private chef service, meal plans, massage and wellness sessions, yoga, airport transportation, local transfers, guided nature experiences, surfing, horseback riding, snorkeling, diving, and seasonal whale and dolphin tours can be arranged on request.

Beautiful home away from home

This was our 11th visit to Costa Rica and we've stayed at numerous homes over the years. Hamsa Villa is in the the top 5. The home was spacious with plenty of room to gather as a group and enough privacy when needed. The location was perfect; close to beaches, grocery stores, and restaurants yet peaceful and private enought for us to enjoy the natural beauty around us. I cannot say enough about our host Anick who was welcoming, responsive and kept us well informed of matters regarding the house. Gilbert, the grounds keeper provided us with fresh eggs and a pineapple that was grown on the property.I recommend this property and hope to visit again!

Our jaws dropped when we entered the villa! Pictures cannot capture the beauty of this place, its amazing. We were worried about it being open but other than a couple grasshoppers and cicadas it wasn't an issue. We enjoyed cooling off in the pool. The gardens surrounding the villa are spectacular, taken care of by a sweet man, Gilbert who makes beautiful flower arrangements throughout the villa with flowers from the gardens. Stunning views of the Pacific and tropical forest. The villa is fully stocked, with little extras as well. We were welcomed with drinks, a snack and a bowl of fruit from the property. A great layout for a group. The whole property is clean and well taken care of, comfy beds, beautifully decorated. No one wanted to leave for excursions! Great location close to the village. We had visits from Scarlet Macaws, Toucans, Monkeys one night, coatimundis and capybara as well as many different birds. Annick the host was amazing, she's so cheerful, friendly and extremely helpful. If we had a question she was quick to answer. She gave us many suggestions of places to eat and things to do. She gave us a warm welcome. It was comforting to know she was next door if we needed anything, yet non intrusive. She cares a lot about the villa and its guests she really wants to make sure you have the best vacation. We all hope to return one day.

They start moving slower. Sleeping deeper. Laughing louder around the dinner table. Standing barefoot in the garden listening to the howler monkeys greet the sunrise.

Oasia is built for that kind of letting-go. The rainforest does most of the work. The pool, the yoga deck, the open-air dining, the central courtyard — every space is designed to draw you outside, into the breeze, into the green. The energy of the property is grounded, soft, and unhurried.

Beyond the space itself, what I love most is helping each group shape their own experience. We work with you to build a personalized agenda — chef-prepared meals, yoga and breathwork, wellness treatments, waterfall hikes, surf lessons, sunset dinners, fire ceremonies, whatever your group needs. The intention is simple: that you go home not just rested, but quietly changed.

Whether you come as a family, a group of friends, a retreat circle, or a couple who needs to remember what stillness feels like, my hope is the same: that you arrive a little tired and leave a little freer.
