This 4-bedroom homestead is nestled in the scenic countryside of Glen Forbes, just past Grantville (20min from Phillip Island). Set on a sequestered 8.5-hectare estate with astonishing views to French Island, it is an ideal getaway for families or group of friends. Easy-to-get-to and yet remote, this homestead offers the charm of a farm stay with a country style breakfast supplied each morning which is included in the daily price.

In addition to the 4 bedrooms and their accompanying en-suites, you’ll enjoy exclusive access to dedicated facilities including a spacious lounge, rumpus/games room, dining room, and kitchenette with cooktop and oven.

While here, you’ll have complimentary access to the many onsite amenities including solar-heated pool, tennis court (with equipment), billiards table, table tennis table and BBQ area. An added attraction is the homestead’s associated farm, which you and your guests may feed, and pat the animals. This lovely opportunity provides a farm stay-like quality, enhancing the overall experience and accommodations.

Guest Access

Your 4-bedroom guest quarters is laid out over a sizeable (one-storey) floor plan. It offers a private entrance, separate from the main doors of the homestead where the hosts reside.

Other Things to Note

To make your stay all the more memorable and effortless, a scrumptious breakfast will be provided for you and yours daily. After a good night’s sleep, awake to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a batch of bacon and eggs.

Served in the dining room of the heritage homestead proper, we invite you to help yourself to a selection of cereals, refreshments, toast, jams, honey, peanut butter or vegemite while we do the cooking for you.

And, for those who enjoy a hearty meal to start their day, we provide a selection of scrambled eggs, bacon, tomatoes, mushrooms and sausages.

Great stay - everything you could need!

Wonderful property in a great location close to Phillip Island. Great place for a young family with the farm animals and the pool and tennis court got got usage too! Would come back again.

Happy, homely Heritage

We so enjoyed our stay at Heritage Bed and Breakfast. The facilities and activities were were very well suited to our family, and the children really enjoyed playing tennis, snooker,table tennis, swimming in the pool and feeding the animals.The rooms were great, with each room having its own bathroom. So cosy and comfortable. Derek and Marita were fabulous hosts who provided all that we could possibly wish for... the breakfasts were amazing! A truly wonderful get away so close to the city.

Lovely heritage style accommodation.

The place is perfect for families wanting an easy relaxing get away. With two large lounges you could have the children watching a movie while the parents can relax at the other end of the house. There’s a pool, tennis court and miniature animals to feed as well as many other amenities to entertain the whole family. The hosts are lovely and go out of their way to accommodate any of your needs and at the same time are rarely seen. Great views of French Island and only a short trip to Sam Remo and Phillip Island. Highly recommend staying here and exploring the Bass coast and everything it has to offer.

At Heritage B&B you can relax in a beautiful rural setting, enjoy a swim in the solar-heated pool, play a game of billiards, play table tennis, have a game of tennis on the tennis court, throw a few hoops with the basketball ring, go for a walk in the local national park, or feed the locals (miniature cows, sheep and horses).

Private access to half of this huge homestead (accommodates 8 people), with your own private entrance. Previous guests have commented that your part of the premises is like staying in a house, it's that BIG.

Pets allowed with pre-approval with the hosts.

Your hosts live on-site and are available to help you with anything you require during your stay. You have your own property entrance, all bedrooms have their private ensuite, kitchenette (fridge, oven, hotplate, and microwave), dining room (where your breakfast is served), lounge room (with open fireplace), recreation room (billiards, table tennis, TV with DVDs), tennis court, outside heated pool and an outside BBQ area.

To make your stay all the more memorable and effortless, a scrumptious breakfast will be provided for you and yours daily which is included in the accommodation price. After a good night’s sleep, awake to the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a continental breakfast (assorted cereals, pastries, fresh fruit, toast and a mixture of spreads).
