Located in the upper part of Fira (close to Firostefani), right on the cliff of Caldera, Villa Mura’s location combines view and accessibility in the most privileged way. Just five minutes’ walk from the center of Fira (capital town of Santorini), with no other properties or obstacles to volcano view, 300 meter (985ft) above sea level, this exact point where Villa is located, provides the ideal angle to observe volcano and Fira Town view. It is no luck that this is one of the most photographed places in Santorini. Villas yard and pool are located 2 meters (6.5 feet) above the cobbled path, giving the necessary privacy from bystanders and by passers and leaving the majestic volcano and town view intact.

Fabulous Santorini Home

The location in Fira is spectacular, right in the heart of the shops and restaurants. An amazing view from the steps outside the front gate. The home was well furnished and Maria and Christina took care of us as if we were family. I would definitely recommend this villa for a family or larger group.

Santorini Chilling

Our group of 4 couples enjoyed our stay at Villa Murat. The location is great. Easy walking to many restaurants with views of the Caldera. The small pool offered a perfect place to catch a sunset at the end of the day. Our host, Christina, was outstanding. It is obvious that she takes pride in this 300+ yr old refurbished property and in making sure her guests are enjoying their stay. Note that all the 4 br.s have separate bathrooms and each room has a private access door. Also note that 2 of the br.s are spacious but beds are up in lofts over the living space and private bath.

Simply the Best

I have to start with the property manager Christina. She met us there on our arrival and from that day forward was always readily available to help us with anything we needed. Thanks to her my daughter had a beautiful birtday cake waiting on our arrival with a wonderful breakfast. She got us great reservations everywhere. She has even been so kind as to help us claim our lost baggage that arrived one day after we left! I would go back there again just to see her. The place is also gorgeous. Sunset views from both the main deck and rooftop. Beautiful interior -meticulously clean. The place is far enough away from the center of town that there is no noise at night but close enough to easily walk to everything. The housekeeper Maria came every day to make us breakfast and to clean dishes. I have never been to a VRBO where I never had to lift a finger. Five stars all the way for this place.

Villa Murat - perfect vacation spot!

Our stay at Villa Murat was the most amazing vacation we could have hoped for. This was for several reasons. Our host, Christina, was so easy to work with. Every time I had a question, she responded immediately. She met us upon arrival and welcomed us, walking us through the villa and explaining the in's and out's of the place. She gave us great recommendations and helped us organize our plans and make reservations at restaurants, etc. Maybe the biggest impact on our trip though, was Maria, our housekeeper. I cannot sing Maria's praises enough! She readied an amazing breakfast for us each day. One night she even cooked us an amazing dinner when our private chef had to quarantine due to sickness. Maria tidied the property everyday and was available for any special requests we had. She even made my birthday special by decorating the villa that day and ordering us a beautiful cake. On the whole, Villa Murat is a dream vacation, from the beautiful, unique property to the service provided by Christina and Maria. We could not have been happier and plan to return at some point. Thank you to our hosts!
