This home is beautiful and spacious. It’s and updated cottage, near downtown. The host is super responsive and easy to work with. Highly recommend this home!
The house was clean and as pictured, but uneven floors
Overall it was clean, as pictured and check in was easy. When the roller bags were placed inside, they immediately started rolling. The floors aren't level. One of the bedrooms was missing a door. The couch was very uncomfortable. We had to put pillows on it not to feel the 2x4's from the frame. The road noise and trains were louder than anticipated.
For what you are getting, the price is fair. The space is nice and basically as advertised. I would note that there is NO AC in the large front bedroom. No ductwork in that room to move air. It was in the 80’s over the weekend and the room was very warm. The AC in the rest of the house is ice-cold. The beds are comfortable however when we stripped them at checkout, we noted the mattress covers are very dirty. Two things to easily correct and the place is 5-stars

Clean, but not comfortable and with an unresponsive host
The beds are comfortable & the place is clean enough, but the couch is so uncomfortable as to be unusable & there’s no ceramic dishware, only (well-used) plastic plates & cups. The lighting is dim, there’s no way to make ice, there’s no sign of smoke detectors, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t reach the front (main) bedroom.
These could prettily easily be fixed, but the host didn’t respond when we emailed them with these issues so I’m not sure how interested they are in making actual guests happy. It seems more like they made it look good for the photographs and then left it at that.

Great People, Bad Space
To start on the positive side, the listers were great with communication. There were some issues with the sink and the front door lock when we were on our way, but they were highly responsive and proactive in dealing with those situations as they were able to. I would also note that, while this is speculation on my part, I get the impression they are doing what they can with the house. With that said...the house is not good. The furniture seemed cheaply made. The bed I used, for example, was definitely not made to support a bigger person (which I am). But I would consider that much nitpicking. The real issues are the bathroom and the location itself. The bathroom is very small. About what one might expect with an older, downtown home, to be sure. But what makes it problematic is the doorway. Granted, I'm 6'4". But it was a ridiculously low doorframe. I forgot about it the first night, and ended up hitting my head pretty firmly in my half-asleep state. So...not great, and I think important to know. The part that really made the stay uncomfortable, though, had to do with the location. While it's a solid spot on the map, there is a railroad close to the house, and trains go by with their horns blaring at all hours of the night. Our stay was two nights, and I got only a couple hours of sleep. To summarize: The bathroom is problematic, the furniture is not sturdy, and the location by the railroad makes it hard to sleep. But the property managers were very good.

Our host was accessible and responded in a timely manner.
My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The only thing I’d improve is that there’s not really a large sitting area to visit. The house was clean and lovely.
Beds were comfy. Owner was responsive. Walkable neighborhood. We would stay here again.

Warm Cozy home
We Had Amazing time in Lenoir city to visit our family ! Cute , cozy house with all the Amenities,..we will Definitely stay here again when we visit Lenoir
Tennessee ❤️
The historic home is cute and clean. I had lots of space since it was just me. WiFi worked great. I loved being close to downtown, particularly to Ugly Mug coffee shop.
This worked out perfect for us and thought the house was adorable! Walked every morning for our coffee to the Ugly Mug coffee shop and evening walks for ice cream on Main Street! The property manager was excellent and very accommodating!!!
House was adorable clean and love the style and vibe ! I would say my only thoughts were for three bedrooms it needs a real couch that can hold a group. And maybe add some extra blankets I went and bought one. But besides those minor things this house is adorable and the ugly mug coffee shop is a short walk with amazing fresh coffee !
We fell in love with this adorable house the second we walked in the door. It is so charming! It was updated exactly where it needed to be but still had the character and history of a house that age. It was so clean and stocked with absolutely everything we could need. We walked to the cutest little town square right around the corner for boutique shopping and ice cream. The owner was extremely helpful in the check-in process and even checked on us the first night to see if we needed anything. I noticed someone mentioned a train in their review but during our 3 day stay, we only heard it once during the day and it was not loud at all. The church bells chiming at noon across the street were so nice. The kitchen was stocked with very nice cookware of all kinds. We ordered groceries to be delivered upon our arrival as well as pizza one night and a late night door dash snack. All of our delivery drivers found the location easily. We do plan on staying again as we have friends in the area and this house was less expensive and nicer than a hotel. No complaints at all.
My husband and I came to Lenoir to do some fishing, and this house worked perfect for us. Good place to park the boat, with an outdoor outlet for charging up the battery. Good convenient location. The train was not a problem, maybe heard it once or twice during the day. House was very clean, very spacious. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen and bath had everything we needed. Check-in/check-out very easy. We would definitely stay again. Much better than a motel.
The owner was great with communicating and very quick responses. This property had everything you would need for your stay. Plenty of towels, loved having washer and dryer there. The Memory foam mattresses were very comfortable, plenty of pillows. The little downtown area was very cute with all the boutique shops and the coffee bar a block away. The only complaint I have is there is only one tv in the living area and a very small couch, not enough room for a family to sit together.
