Great EaDo Getaway!

The description of "Northside" is a bit misleading but not troublesome. The property is located in a newly up-and-coming section of EaDo (East Downtown). There is a nice park across the street for a morning or evening walk and playground for the kids. There is construction across the street on the other side of the corner but that should be done soon as they finish the new condos/townhouses. Very close to downtown destinations and entertainment though not quite walking distance, about a 5 minute drive, and centrally located for branching out and exploring the city it is at the interchange of 3 major interstate highways. 45 minutes from Galveston, 30 minutes from the San Jacinto Monument and Battleship Texas, and only 15 minutes from the museum district and Houston Zoo and Hermann Park. Milliard, the host, was fantastically communicative and accommodating and we can't wait for an excuse to book another stay with him at this property. The house is very comfortable and inviting and even our young boys had no trouble adjusting to sleeping in a strange bed. The home made a perfect staging area for preparations for our daughter's Quinceanera which was a great success. Thank you, Milliard, for everything!

Why they chose this property

I purchased this property primarily for the location. It is a beautiful Townhome that is minutes from Downtown Houston. Surprisingly even though it is so close to Downtown, it is situated in a quite neighborhood. You would never know that Downtown is around the corner, apart from being able to see the skyscrapers in the distance. I loved that the home was a little Oasis surrounded by the hustle and bustle of Downtown Houston.
