Home Overview:
Designed with large family gatherings in mind, this 3,000 square-foot lake home has four spacious bedrooms, and three spacious bathrooms. On the main level, a 23 foot cathedral ceiling exposes oak beams and an oak ceiling, adding to the spacious feel of the Great Room. Two 8' dining tables comfortably seat 16. Two full-sized leather couches provide plenty of seating with a terrific view of the lake and woods. The loft provides an extra sleeping area and has been the location of many spirited Foosball matches. The cedar deck feels like an extension of the Great Room because of the over-sized windows. The deck is pleasantly shaded by the house and oak trees for most of the morning and most of the afternoon. Central air with separate thermostats for the upper and lower levels will keep your group comfortable in any season.

The home is built on 100 feet of heavily wooded shoreline. You can keep your boat in the 10'x28' covered dock slip. A second boat can be tied up along the outside finger of the dock. The dock also has a swim platform with a slide, and the location in the cove allows for safe, protected swimming away from boat traffic, while still providing a wonderful view of the lake and easy access to the main channel.

Design Layout and Wheelchair Accessibility:
The main level, with access to the driveway and deck, includes the kitchen, dining area, living area, master bedroom, and bathroom. The entire main level is wheelchair accessible, including 36 inch doors throughout and a grab bar next to the toilet. There is also a ramp available for wheelchair access from the driveway up two stairs into the main level of the home. If someone in your group has difficulty with stairs, they will find everything they need conveniently located on the main level. The lower level consists of three bedrooms, all facing the lake, and two bathrooms.

Sleeping Arrangements:
One bedroom has two queen beds (sleeping four). Two bedrooms each have one queen bed (sleeping four). The bunk room has two queen bunk beds (four queen mattresses, sleeping eight) and beneath the bunks is a full mattress that can be pulled out (sleeping 2 more). If you have children in your gathering they'll love camping out together in this room. Finally, there are three queen mattresses in the loft (sleeping 6). Up to 24 can sleep on mattresses, or up to 12 adults can each have a mattress to themselves. Your whole party can sleep comfortably under one roof. (For those of you doing the math, the 25th spot is the crib.)

Location and Convenience:
Located at mile marker 4 on the North Shore, this home is located 15 minutes or less from: Bagnell Dam, Lake Ozark, Osage Beach, HyVee, Wal-Mart, go-kart tracks, miniature golf, golf, shopping, health care, and a wide variety of restaurants and bars. A convenience store, with a wide variety of goods, is less than 5 minutes away. Adventure Marine is a good choice for boat and waverunner rentals, and it is located less than ten minutes away. The Boathouse Lakeside Bar and Grill is in the cove next to ours and has a great family atmosphere with swim-up bar and separate kids and adult sections in the pool.
