About this property

Boardwalk Villas w/oceanfront balcony

Oceanfront unit at Boardwalk Resort and Villas at 16th Street and Atlantic Avenue. Very modern building and units. Fantastic Beach Views from your balcony and windows. Really nice indoor pool, hot tub and amenities. One of our favorite resorts in Virginia Beach! One-bedroom suites sleep 6 – perfect for larger families or groups. All rooms and suites include premium TV channels free Wi-Fi and safes.

Resort amenities include an fitness center, a heated indoor oceanfront pool and hot tub, laundry facilities and a private parking garage. Bar and Grill located onsite serves fresh seafood, pasta and steaks and offers live (acoustic) music several nights a week.

Please note that I use a software package called OwnerRez to manage my bookings. This means you will also receive email correspondence from VRBO on your booking and OwnerRez directly requesting your consent to my rental agreement, etc.

3 night minimum. All stays at this location need to start or end on Friday or Saturday please. Deviation will still be considered on a case by case basis. Please email me if this is an issue for you.

Boardwalk Resort Hotel and Villas is located in the heart of the resort district, in the center of Virginia Beach’s famous boardwalk – named one of the “Top Ten Boardwalks in America.” Guests are just steps away from free entertainment at 17th Street Stage, and the best dining and shopping along the boardwalk.
Located in the heart of VAB - the boardwalk, restaurants, bars, night life, roller coasters and rides, mini golf, arcades, and the ocean front and beaches. Great place for kids and adults.

The city of VA Beach pays bands and street acts to perform on every other street corner every night between 17th and 30th Street. Free concerts at the several pavilions up and down the boardwalk. Great place to ride bikes or rollerblade. Parking included. Indoor pool and hot tub. Arcade games, gym, activities. 45 minutes from Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg.

Think twice!!

The property was beautiful...no complaints....the staff there, exceptional. The guy we booked with, Peter, was a hot mess!!! Screwed us over royal. We paid for ocean front and got street view instead. His response...."sadly, that's what he booked!!!" The hotel staff was not surprised...they have dealt with him before!!!

Mostly Good but…Diamond Property Mgmt Questionable

Everything before hand and with the owner was great. Virginia Beach was great. Property Managment not so much. For starters they couldn’t find my reservation, then told owner I put letters in number when I had it on my phone clearly in front of her. When they entered it they added a night not on my reservation. Then after they took 20 minutes checking us in required us to go in another room to persuade us to go on a 2 hour tour and presentation so they could sell me a time share. Once we got to the condo the floor was sandy in every room, garbage left in the kitchen, light out over the bathroom sink, toothpaste on the bathroom sink, and I had to put all the towels, dish soap and bathroom items out that was left in a plastic bag in the middle of our floor. When we called all they guy wanted to do is give us another bag of stuff as if the front desk didn’t tell him what was needed. I told him we didn’t need that and was more concerned with the dirt and garbage. He took the garbage out and returned the waste basket. He did nothing to resolve the other concerns I called about. Finally, the WiFi was horrible. It continually disconnected and buffered.

Okay overall

We enjoyed our stay. The check-in process was a little shaky as we arrived to the property to find that our names were not on the reservation. We had driven for 9+ hours and were hoping for an easier check-in.
