The property was well kept and it met all our expectations. The manager of the property was also helpful and very attentive. I would definitely stay again.
This house is super cute and is located right off the golf course. There are some really great restaurants nearby, but if you want to stay in, the house has all the basic cooking items you need. Great place for a simple and quiet getaway.

Good Location. It is a very old cabin. Needs work and house keeping is not the best. Probably would not rent again.

Hi Harry, we're glad you enjoyed the location! We take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following: We have high standards of hospitality for our property. We're sorry to hear that you didn't have the five-star experience we endeavor to provide our guests.
- We use professional photographers so we can be sure that our images accurately reflect each property and guests can decide before confirming a reservation. The listing and photos properly advertise the home as a charming cabin and we offer a "Rustic Cosiness" for the most comfortable stay in the mountains.
- Cleanliness is highly important to us and the home is professionally serviced prior to every guest's arrival. We wish you had reached out to the Guest Contact if there were any cleanliness issues you needed to be addressed. We would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately.
We suggest for any of your future travels in a vacation rental, read the descriptions entirely to ensure it meets your needs. We do all we can to create the best experience, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests.
Cabin is rustic, spacious and located in a very quite neighborhood. Centrally located and easy access to surrounding lakes. Everyone in town is very friendly. There is lots to do and many things to eat.
Cons - the listings is clear that there is not air conditioning. There are no ceiling fans or tower fans for comfort during heat waves. The sofa is old and has springs sticking out of it. There was rodent droppings inside the kitchen cupboards. The kitchen was not stocked with items that I usually see in rental homes at this price point. Fortunately, there was a market close by. The refrigerator was turned off. We arrived during a heat wave and the fridge took several hours to cool down. 1 of the 2 bathrooms is not private; occupants of the home can see into this shared bathroom. There was pink mold in the ensuite bathroom shower. We were issued 1 very rough bath towel per person. Lastly, the home was located in a cell phone dead spot. The listing indicates there is no WIFI which is accurate, but you will need to go to town if you plan on using an electronic devices.

Hi there, we take guest feedback seriously and passed your comments on to the homeowner who would like to share the following:
-Our living room has a ceiling fan light fixture. We will provide more fans.
-The sofa has been replaced
-Our cleaners have been notified about pests, along with bathroom cleanliness.
-We apologize if the kitchen wasn't stocked to your liking. We haven't had any guests mention this and would've appreciated more specific feedback on what would improve the kitchen.
-We keep the refrigerator on a low setting. We encourage guests to reach out with any questions or concerns so we can address them as soon as possible.
-Regarding the bathroom privacy, the shower and toilet are blocked from the window view. We apologize if you felt there was a lack of privacy.
-We are sorry if the towels felt rough. We upgraded them this season and a set of towels (bath, hand, and face towel) are provided for each guest.
-We typically have good cell service and hotspots with ATT and Verizon. We have had disrupted coverage due to the fires, but we are sorry if this negatively impacted your stay.
Thanks for taking the time to leave your review!
The actual cabin felt very different from what the photos portrayed. The AC did not cool most of the house. The back door was only held closed by a latch. One of the rooms doorknobs was broken. The “king bed” was just 2 twin beds pushed together. Lack of WiFi and cell service made it difficult to get in contact with the guest contact or anyone in general without driving into town. Laundry room door just needed to be pushed open even when “locked”. The fire place that was promoted in the posting had a sign saying we could not use it because it was “out of service” I will not be staying here again

Hi Daniel, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:
-The photos of the cabin are accurate, through the photos we portray the cabin's rustic qualities.
-We're sorry that you felt caught off guard with some aspects of our cabin but our listing properly describes the amenities offered. Since our cabin is located in a wooded area we haven't required an A/C Unit, and our listing does not have one on its posting.
-Our goal for this cabin is to be a technological retreat and purposefully do not provide Wifi. Unfortunately, we have no power over specific cellular carriers but we have never had issues with coverage and have frequently used personal hotspots.
-We know that mattresses and their comfort are subjective and would like to clarify that our King bed is a single mattress with a memory foam top. That mattress is supported by two box springs in which support the entirety of the mattress.
-We encourage guests to reach out to us while they are in residence with any issues so that we can address any concerns quickly for a most comfortable stay. If contacted we would have been able to explain our doors. For instance, the back door has both a deadbolt and a doorknob throw latch. For the area, this is common and has never been an issue.
-We were unaware of the broken doorknob and upon receiving your feedback will promptly fix that issue.
-Due to fires in the area there has been a recent ban on all fires in the area. This includes the one inside our cabin. Unfortunately, we wish this was not the case during your stay, but during seasons of high temperatures, we do not recommend having an indoor fire because of its functional purpose to warm the cabin.
-We want to provide privacy for each guest and want to clarify that the bathroom described is indeed private. The only view from the outside is of the sink, the toilet and shower area are completely isolated. The purpose of the window is to allow the guests a view of the backyard landscapes. We truly go above and beyond for our guests, and we are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!
This was really the perfect cabin for what we were looking for. Clean and rustic enough to be charming but not so rustic that it wasn't cozy. Right next to the golf course, close to Graeagle and lots of hiking trails. All the amenities you need to be comfortable. We will definitely rent again. If you need fancy, this is not the cabin for you but if you're looking for a great cabin, that's clean and cozy and close to a lot of activities this cabin is perfect.
