This was such a great house for a weekend getaway with my teenage kids. The firepit area was so cozy and we had the best time hiking down to the river. Highly recommend!

Thank You For Your Booking. I am glad you enjoyed yourselves, and important your teens did too. I think this Adirondack gem can be enjoyed by all. Just the mere fact of that beautiful River and then there are the dueling birds, chipmunks and squirrels at the bird feeders amongst plenty of nature. They can be fun to watch while taking in the view. Thanks Again - Happy Autumn 🍂

Thank You for your booking. I am pleased you found this cottage to be like home. Every effort is made to immerse guests in the Adirondacks, charm and to enjoy the simple pleasures. Maybe even enchanting with the River bend to be still and listen to peace. Hopefully you’ll be back in the area and find your way back. Thanks Again…
We have stayed several times in this home. This was our first time visiting in spring time. The home is beautifully situated directly on the Hudson. The river melt running by was amazing. It was a beautiful sight to wake up to out the primary bedroom sliding glass doors. The home is a quaint Adirondack home with every cooking utensil and appliances one could possibly need; perfect for home cooking, if desired. Or if dining out is preferable: Warrensburg, Lake George, Bolton Landing, Gore are all driving distance and have dining options to meet most budgets and tastes. The home has plenty of outdoor seating options. It has a gas grill for cooking and all the necessary grilling utensils. It also has a nice firepit with ample dry wood available for use. This place is just a gorgeous to hang out. I can't think of a single thing the owner hadn't thought of. I'd recommend this home to anyone looking to get away from life for a while. We are looking forward to staying again at some point in the future.

From the owner: "Hi There, Thank You for your booking. I’m glad you enjoyed this Adirondack Gem and hopefully all the comforts of home. It’s soothing to step into this cottage and be swept away by the River view, and stepping outside with the River rumbles is immediate music for the soul. Good to treat ourselves to nature. Thank you again."
Lovely property right on the river with great views of the river from the house and patio. Kitchen is airy and well stocked and the patio is beyond nice, partially covered so you can sit out even if it's raining. We really enjoyed the nice fire pit and firewood is plentiful. House was clean and cozy. Lake George is very close and the Lake Placid/Au Sable area is only about an hour away and a very pleasant drive. Highly recommended.

Thank You For Your Booking. So nice to know you thoroughly enjoyed the cottage and you were able to enjoy the outdoors. The River is super pretty this time of year with the leaves changing color. Your drive North had to be more colorful as well. The outdoor deck is soothing while the rain pelts the tin roof. Something special in relaxing to the old fashion days as tin was used for barns and farm buildings. Farmers sitting on their oversized porches watching their crops grow and taking a rest with the rain. Thanks Again - Happy Fall🍂🍁

Sometimes it is nice to be reminded of that much needed time away, to enjoy the simpler things of life through pictures of nature and country. It certainly is a place to feel peace and give back to yourself. Thanks Again!!!
This is a lovely little cabin on the Hudson River. I don't think i've ever been to a rental that the kitchen came so well equiped from seasonings to cooking oils, even coffee and tea. You don't usually see a blender or mixer but yes they were there!

We had a wonderful week at the cabin. It was very tranquil and very relaxing. Loved watching the hummingbirds and chipmunks. The sound of the river was so relaxing and Lake George is just minutes away. Pam was a great communicator and had some great suggestions for local restaurants. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Highly recommend and would love to go back in the fall.
