We loved this beautiful cabin. It was clean, well stocked and had a comfy bed(we only used the one). The owner/manager was very helpful. We enjoyed the breathtaking views from the porch by day and a starry sky at night.

This is a beautiful home. It was very well stocked, comfortable, and clean. It was in a beautiful area between Buford and Meeker with a view of the White River. The owner was responsive, friendly, flexible and laid back. I highly recommend staying here!

What a perfect place for a little family get away. Everything was so homey feeling, clean and comfortable! They had so many little things that made it feel just like home, air fryer, electric skillet, spices, coffee, really just about anything you might need! I would absolutely stay here again! The host was great, didn’t have to spend our last morning stripping beds or cleaning, we just got to enjoy our time.

What an incredible cabin! My family has been coming to Meeker since 1963 and we are so happy we chose this home to stay in while we were here. The views are beyond beautiful, the cabin was better stocked than anywhere we’ve stayed previously, and it was so comfortable. We will definitely be staying there again!

We recently stayed at this cabin as a base for our ATV trip! Amazing!! Loved the access to trailheads, loved the access to Lake Avery, LOVED the views, loved the cabin itself! Will definitely stay again when in the area.

There isn’t enough writing room to leave an appropriate review that would do this place justice. We had an unbelievable experience at the cabin itself. Very clean and had everything you need from washer/dryer, stocked hygiene items, kitchenware, brand new grill, etc. Communication with Ryan was on point. The mornings and evenings spent on the deck were the highlight of our trip. We went whitewater rafting in Glenwood Springs, hiked Maroon Bells in Aspen, a hike right down the road at South Fork Campground that we would highly recommend, rented a UTV right in town at Gianinetiti’s and saw a massive heard of sheep and our first bear. (Great Experience - super helpful on where to go) My daughter and I fished the white river for trout every morning or evening. Fishing that river so close to the cabin surrounded by mountains and sunrise/sunset was magic. Back to the cabin and deck…. From playing bags with the mountains in view to the stars and moonrise from the deck will blow your mind and make you not want to return to your day to day living. This was an experience that impacted our family in the best way possible. We’re more than 1,000 miles away in St. Charles, MO…. I would drive 16 hours back tomorrow.

Ryan and Rachel are thrilled to share their space with you. Ryan is from Meeker where his family roots extend five generations while Rachel spent her thriving childhood in Boulder, CO. The dynamic duo started their story together at Colorado State University and now reside in Steamboat Springs were they are living out their 20's as "work hard play hard" young professionals. They desire to provide you a unique experience and encourage you to leave the TV off, put the phones away and authentically encounter not only the surrounding mountains and wildlife, but most importantly, the family or friends traveling with you.

Why they chose this property

Originally my family owned and operated the Sleepy Cat Guest Ranch below the cabin. The cabin sites on some of the original land part of the ranch owned by my grandpa, then by my dad before being sold to others. I recently had the opportunity with friends to repurchase the property. I spent my childhood here and hope to always be able to come back and enjoy this area.

What makes this property unique

Sitting out on the deck listening to the river flow, elk bugling in the fall and soaking in the 360 views is undoubtedly my favorite aspect of this wonderful place. Thanks to a deal my grandpa made, the two mile stretch of white river that the cabin overlooks is public fishing and you can be the first ones on the water with a short drive down from the cabin.
