Garden suite located near lake, train station, shops and restaurants

This well equipped suite near the lake of Zurich is located in a charming 16th century building at the centre of Horgen, with good connections to the city, airport and mountains. It's perfect for a family with 1-2 children or a group of 2-4 friends.

The suite has a sofa which in the evening easily converts into a queen size bed. In the living room there is also a flat screen TV and a dining table. There is a bedroom with a bunk bed, which is separated from the living area with curtains.
In the separate kitchen you will find the most common equipment to comfortably cook and eat, including stove, oven, fridge, freezer, toaster, microwave oven and a kettle.

The bathroom has a shower but no bathtub. There is a washing machine and a separate dryer, as well as a rack to hang clothes.

This accommodation is in a great location close to Horgen station, but it is very basic. Agree with previous review that it has a funny smell. The building is old with a lot of character, but the shower/bathroom is very basic and very handyman built - not ideal. The beds are basic - we would have preferred two separate beds, not a bunk bed. Kitchen had necessary items.

Die Ferienwohnung ist insgesamt einigermaßen sauber gehalten. Der Check-In und Check-Out sind super einfach gemacht, ebenfalls ist die eigene Müllentsorgung vor der Abreise auf jeden Fall angemessen. Müllbeutel der örtlichen Entsorgungsgemeinschaft sind vorhanden.Die hochgeladenen Bilder der Ferienwohnung sind jedoch bereits etwas älter. Mittlerweise ist alles sehr abgelebt und etwas unangenehm. Der Duschvorhang ist mehrmals repariert worden und hängt immernoch durch, viele Fliegen kommen aus dem "Abfluss" (der Mauer) in der Dusche. Kochutensilien sind nur sehr spärlich vorhanden - und wenn, dann sehr verbrannt/angekokelt.ACHTUNG IN DER KÜCHE: Die Schublade unter dem Spülbecken ist nur ein geklebtes Brett, welches nicht mehr hebt. Mir ist das Brett gleich nach unserer Ankunft auf den Zeh geflogen, weshalb ein anschließender Besuch in der Notaufnahme nicht auszuschließen war. Idealerweise das Brett gleich nach der Ankuft auf das Spülbecken legen, sodass Unfälle vermieden werden können.

Super Kurztrip Destination

Wir waren für 5 Nächte hier und haben es sehr genossen. Hübscher ruhiger Ort, Nähe zu den Bergen und zur Stadt - was will man mehr! Die Wohnung ist super gelegen und hat alles, was man braucht.

Zwar vergleichsweise günstig dafür räudig

Es war O.K.Die Ferienwohnung war sehr alt und räudig. Man musste über die Küche zum Bad, was auf den Fotos nicht zu erkennen war. Außerdem ist ein Garten abgebildet gewesen, was nur direkt der Eingang zur Wohnung darstellte und zur Straße führte. Parken war sehr teuer.

Kurzurlaub

Wir haben die Ferienwohnung genau wie in der Beschreibung vorgefunden. Das Gebäude hat viel Charme und ist gut gelegen. Der Eigentümer hat zu jederzeit geholfen unseren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten, sofern es an etwas fehlte. Auch Tipps für Ausflüge haben uns eine schöne Zeit bereitet. Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Sehr schön

Die Wohnung befindet sich in einem wunderschönen, sehr alten denkmalgeschützten Haus, ist aber sehr modern eingerichtet und alles Nötige ist vorhanden. Die Lage ist super, ganz in der Nähe des Bahnhofs falls man mit der Bahn verreist. Auch der See ist gleich in der Nähe, also sehr zentral gelegen und trotzdem angenehm ruhig.

Dusche dreckig, ansonsten ok.

Ich habe bereits viele Ferienwohnungen gebucht und gerade in Zürich hätte ich das so nicht gedacht. Am Duschrand in der Dusche waren Haare vom Vorgänger. Wenn man nicht ausreichend lüftet riecht es nach dem Abfluss in der Dusche. Es fehlt eine große Pfanne für 4 Pers. Und auch ein Stöpsel, wenn man Abwaschen möchte. Die Vorhänge sind nicht dicht an den Fenstern, daher ist es früh hell und mit den kleinen Elektroheizungen wäre ich unsicher, ob die im kalten Winter die Wohnung warm bekommen. Die Kinder hat es nicht so gestört, sie fanden das Hochbett toll. In den Schränke ist teilweise privates, daher wirkt es komisch. Wir haben das Beste daraus gemacht. Die Wohnung war wie beschrieben. Schöne Ikeamöbel ausgesucht.
