The property was great with lots of space, the pool table and the hot tub as well as the smoke house were fantastic and the pictures can't give you an idea of how big it is. The bedrooms were great and so was the kitchen and the living rooms, 5 star stay!
We are 5 families coming together for reunion. House was perfect for our needs, had everything you needed.Conservatory with pool table was a bonus as well as the Inuit hut.Garden is huge and lovely. Good location for what we needed.
Was perfect for my large family with lots of couples. Great sized bedrooms, convenient sized kitchen and the games room went down a storm. Highly reccomend
This property was a great place for our family get together. The Inuit house provided a perfect space for a BBQ in the rain. The hot tub and pool table was a nice addition. Would definitely recommend this property
Had a great time for a 50th birthday. Well equipped kitchen and all bedrooms a good size with comfortable beds. Hot tub was fun and the BBQ in the hut was great too.
The stay was a lovely one. The property had everything we needed for a long weekend of relaxing with the family. No problems with check in or check out. I was able to communicate with the owner while there for a minor question - which they responded to very quickly!
Great stay in Midsomer Manor! House is a great size, we had 11 people in the house and it didn’t feel at all cramped or lacking in space. The house is clean, tidy with a little added extra of some essentials when we arrived. Kids absolutely loved the pool room, the addition of some kids toys, board games, books and DVD’s were a nice touch. Rooms were all large and spacious, towels a plenty and having two upstairs bathrooms was perfect for a large group of people. This house has everything you need for a home from home stay. You won’t be disappointed. Thank you for the stay
Loads of room for everyone to have their own space. The kids loved the games room and hot tub. The nook in the garden is gorgeous and great for games night - watch out for the slippery decking though (when wet). It’s got everything you need and is great for pets. Would stay again.
Stay was enjoyed by all ages hot tub and pool table appreciated particularly by the youngsters only one thing we felt could be replaced were the tall stools in the conservatory. We felt they were unsafe and very rickety but had no reflection on our stay
We had a great stay with 4 generations of our family in this property. The house was well maintained and comfortable and the games room and hot tub helped to keep the younger members entertained. The location was great as it was possible to walk into town and we also had a great walk along the disused railway line to Radstock for a pub lunch. We had a few difficulties with the showers at first but Brett explained on the phone how to get them going. Also the property was on more of a main road than we expected but that wasn't a problem.
We used the house for a belated Xmas family gathering. There were 11 of us. The house was very clean and very big. It had games, a pool table a hot tub and a barbecue. That entertained us so much we almost couldn't be bothered to go out sight seeing. In summer you would be able to sit out in the garden but this was January and rather rainy. The only glitch was the first two cars to arrive couldn't find the house. We used satnavs and Google maps. The main road was very busy. Once we had worked out it was between two Chinese restaurants and had black and white posts outside it we were fine. The teenagers were delighted to have a room with a double bed all to themselves. The kitchen, two living rooms and the barbeque hut were big enough to hold our whole family comfortably.
We had a lovely break plenty of space to spread around and to be together too
Lovely hot tub and ideal garden but the levels of the garden were a bit restrictive for the elderly could do with a few rails,
Bedrooms very comfy as well as bathrooms with too, we did have a couple of issues but owner dealt with swiftly
It was a family stay to celebrate a birthday. The house had everything for all ages. We had adults and children. The outdoor house/bbq was amazing space. The pool table was great for the kids and adults. The house was spacious and tidy. Fun was had by all
Everything from a beginning to end was just so easy. The process of booking, checking in and leaving the property on Sunday. All of the facilities were an excellent addition to an already beautiful house. Everyone who stayed was full of compliments for the house and we would love to come back in the future.

Thank you for your kind words, we are so glad you enjoyed the house and hope to host you again!
Is a good house for a friend's meet-up. We had 10 of us and spent most of the day chatting and playing pool in the conservatory. The kitchen job was also a great shape and length for a poker game in the evening.
A great location with restaurants and down a 5 min walk.
I've already looked at availability and costs again, as we might use for a family break with other friends.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review - we really appreciate the feedback and hope to host you again!
Overall, everyone left very happy with the space for 8 adults and 2 children plus one infant. The host was excellent in Comms when required and all information was supplied that made everything as easy as possible. I would say for the price, you get exactly what you pay for.
We had a nice stay at the Midsomer Manor! The owner was kind enough to supply a lot of information not only about the house, but also about safety, local shops, restaurants, and take aways. There even were suggestions about (child friendly) places to visit: we were able to enjoy some of them during our stay! The beds were very comfy. Several rooms had TV's and the children enjoyed playing with the toys that were provided. We had a bit of a problem with the front door and contacted the owner about it. He was quick to react and very friendly. We really enjoyed our stay!

I'm originally from Bristol but have lived in various places around the UK. I moved back to the South West in 2000. I bought an apartment the centre of Bath which I lived in for seven years, before moving Midsomer House to start a family.
Why they chose this property
As soon as I saw the property I fell in love with its character. I made many changes over the years but ensured it still kept its original charm. The reindeer lodge was my best decision as we hosted many great family parties in there, it really is unique.
What makes this property unique
Sleeps 16 Large garden Great for entertaining 8 seater Hot Tub Reindeer Lodge, which can seat 20 and sleep 4 (not included in the 16 and bedding must be provided by guests if required) Short walk to the town centre Many great attractions a short drive away 7Kw EV Charger available on request, please contact Brett for details and pricing
