We had such a wonderful time! We were instantly relaxed the moment we arrived. The cabin was so clean and beds were incredibly comfy. The area is so beautiful with so much to explore. We will definitely make this our regular spot in Tennessee!
Nice, convenient place for enjoying Cherokee National Forest
We found the house quite cozy. Loved the antique and farmhouse touches. The only bummer was that the propane fireplace was not operational during our stay.

We’re happy that you enjoyed your stay with us and hope you come again. We found the tank went empty without our notice because of the way our supplier changed it’s annual refill process and it slipped through the cracks. So sorry for that. It won’t happen again and we continue to learn life’s lessons.

We absolutely adored this charming and enchanting cottage! We photographed our friends' wedding and this cottage provided the perfect location and quiet retreat to relax and process photos. The cottage was immaculate, well-stocked and welcoming. We LOVED it and will definitely be back!!!

It's always a pleasure to help folks find the right place for a spur of the moment get-away. It make us happy to be keep the cottage for people to enjoy.
Very quaint and clean home. Very remote, so some cell phone service may be interrupted, but there is a land line. Plenty of tv options and beds are very comfortable.

Weekend Getaway
Can’t say enough great things about our weekend getaway to the Cottage!! The Cottage was so cute and homey, and VERY clean and well maintained! We especially enjoyed sitting on the front porch and deck each evening with the outdoor fireplace going. This is a great place to relax! If you go, take a drive on the Cherohala Skyway and check out Pizzeria Venti for the best pizza! Also, the owners of the Cottage are so friendly…Thanks Woody!! We will be back!

A lovely well-appointed cottage! Just bring your clothes and food. Everything is there.
I was so impressed with the extent of completeness in the home. And it truly feels like a home that you have just stepped into. Anything you needed was there! I spend hours in the rocking chair on the porch listening to nature and gazing at the mountains. Thank you for sharing this little treasure with us.

Wonderful place!! 2 bedroom with lots of room. Porch’s are great, secluded. Big living room.
Great. Jason accommodated us when we supposed to check out, because hurricane had come to coast where we’re heading. Fit us in a extra night. No hassle. He always responded quickly ( and I had a lot of questions) sorry. Highly recommend

Charming and quirky maybe, but ......
The cottage was clean and quaintly decorated and yes, the floors definitely slope throughout due to foundation settling. We were there to ride our motorcycle so didn't spend most of the day at the cottage. Bed was very comfy, but please spend some money on fixing the shower/tub appearance. A little TLC would go a long way in the bathroom. The shower walls are swollen from moisture build up behind the masonite and the caulking looked old around base so wouldn't look clean. The bath mat left in the tub had black spots all over it so we didn't bother to use it. Scoured the tub as best I could although it seemed etched into the floor of the tub. The gas grill was in terrible shape and unusable, totally rusted out interior. Hopefully this will be replaced or removed from the listing.
3 stars because we did enjoy sitting on the porch swing watching the hummingbirds play in the morning with coffee or late afternoon with cocktails and we slept well while there after riding for 6-7 hours a day. Good location to access many nice rides. The weather was absolutely perfect.

Thanks JoAnn for the review and critique. It's always good to have a little criticism to keep things sharp and up to date. I'll have a conversation with my maintenance folks and get things more ship shape. With that said, I find it interesting that for the price of a 2-3 star motel room with nothing but a bed and a TV, folks expect the Ritz and get an entire house with two comfortable beds, a fully equipped kitchen, washer-dryer and entertainment and a great view from the front porch. Most guests seem to enjoy the funkiness of a 65 year old stone cottage for what it is, not so much for what they expect.
Our website states an outdoor grill & BBQ grill is provided, and it is, yet, a past guest wanted a gas grill and didn't want to carry it home so they left it as a gift. Apparentl;y it needs to go away. The charcoal grill is available for use and in very good shape, however, the gas grill will probably be scrapped.
Oh, well!? The weather was good, the riding was excellent; what more could you want? We're glad you enjoyed yourselves and do hope you come back again because we've enjoyed sharing our little piece of peace and quiet with riders and vacationers throughout the years and we aspire to do better each and every day.

Relaxing
It said there was acres to explore but the land was unexplorable it was all thick wooded steep hill there was no way to explore any of the property outside of the front and back yard .and nothing fun to do in the surrounding area without driving at least a hour and a half
We very much appreciated Jason's flexibility when we had to change our visit dates. Jason was accommodating and helpful. The Welcome Kit was great and had some good suggestions of things to do nearby.
This place is so adorable. Very clean. Wish I would have had better cell service but it could have been worse. I have no complaints other than the floor is rotting out. It can’t be seen due to new flooring but it can be felt. The sub flooring and possibly the floor joists need some maintenance. It would be sad to see the adorable cottage destroyed by lack of foundation maintenance.
Quiet and cozy. The location was great for us , close to the skyway and dragons tail. Also close to waterfalls and miles of trails to hike . We brought a small enclosed trailer and we had plenty of room to park it down by the road. Just as Jason said. We had our dogs with us and they enjoyed the yard woods and stream.
The cottage was clean and had everything we needed. Nice touches inside and out.

The fact that it was a little stone cottage and it had a creek running by it. It was very peaceful and we were able to breathe with happiness ❤️😊 it was also very beautiful.
We had a very lovely stay here. It is just a few minutes from the Cherahola Skyway and has everything one could need. I would say that it is definitely the best organized place with the best stocked kitchen we've ever stayed in. I only wish it was a smidgen warmer, so we could have enjoyed the outdoor eating areas and fire place.
The cottage was easy to find, convient for my family's needs, and as a huge plus pet friendly. My family loved the house, and my pets were happy to run in the woods and drink from the beautiful stream near the house. It was cold and rainy, so we didn't get to enjoy the outdoors as much as we wanted, but it was a welcoming place to spend the week.
This is a great place to stay if you want an old country time feel and want a break from your everyday. The atmosphere is quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Enjoy the scenery, camp fire and the stars in the sky!
Great little cottage with everything you need. Secluded yet not in the middle of nowhere! Lots of places for the dogs to explore. Great at home feeling, we will stay again.
