This delightful, beachy cottage (with keypad entry) is 1 mile from beautiful Atlantic Beach and 9 blocks from downtown Delray Beach, with great restaurants, boutiques and fun nightlife. Each bedroom has a platform bed with a 10" hybrid (spring/memory foam/gel) mattress. There is a new, smart TV (with lots of apps), excellent wifi, and full eat-in kitchen. We live on a beautiful block in a choice area. You can park on the driveway and feel free to use the backyard and laundry facilities.

Perfect Getaway

Such a cute little cottage. Ms. Jody was super sweet and responsive. The place was very clean and located in a nice and very safe neighborhood. The cottage is minutes away from the beaches and all sorts of shopping and restaurants. A perfect stay for a weekend getaway.

Wonderful clean environment, we enjoy walking and Golf carts Freebee to the beach. Down town Delray is beautiful and the food are delicious. There is also live music. I enjoyed my birthday.

The cottage was adorable, convenient, and quaint. We moved our daughter into an apartment for FAU and stayed in the cottage. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend it verses getting hotel rooms!!

Great cottage near Lake Ida

Jody was very welcoming on arrival and communicative leading up to, overall a fantastic host. I stayed here on a quick overnight trip for a fishing tournament on Lake Ida. The property was very clean and in a great location being just blocks from the lake. Wish I had the opportunity to stay a little longer, but will definitely book again on the next visit.

I especially enjoy being with my family, friends, and meeting new people. Being a host lets me meet people from all over the country and sometimes the world. It makes me happy to give people an affordable place to stay while they are in my wonderful city, Delray Beach.

Why they chose this property

The cottage is the perfect place to stay for a visit to this wonderful city. I have set it up to have all of the amenities that I would like when travelling. The cottage is a mile from beautiful Atlantic Beach, and 9 blocks from downtown Delray Beach, a fun, trendy, place that shoppers (great boutiques and stores) and foodies (fabulous restaurants) will love. The cottage is in my backyard, but it is very private. It is a five-minute ride to the Interstate, 20 minutes to downtown West Palm Beach, 30 minutes to Fort Lauderdale, and an hour to Miami. There is so much to do in South Florida. You can see the sights or just relax at the beach or in the backyard.

What makes this property unique

The cottage is in a perfect location. It's away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Delray Beach yet close enough to walk there. The beach is barely a mile away if that's "your thing". You can play tennis or pickleball at our world class tennis center, only 10 blocks from the property. There are ballrooms you can drive to and dance the night away. Visit the lovely Morikami Japanese Gardens, or one of the exhibits at the nearby Cornell Museum. Like to walk and see nature? There are two wetland nature centers in Delray Beach where you can walk and see many types of birds, turtles, iguanas and even alligators.
