One of the most amazing ski-in/ski-out locations in Big Sky. Our 4-bedroom, 4 bath, 3 level chalet at the base of Silverknife ski run has everything you need to comfortably accommodate 9 guests. There are no other ski-in/ski-out chalets with our view of Lone Peak from the living room/kitchen deck, 3 ensuite bedrooms (private bathroom/ shower), wood burning fireplace in the living room, 3rd floor, spacious master bedroom with amazing Lone Peak View and new steam shower(Nov 2022), this close to the ski lifts. Most of the Arrowhead condos are not truly ski-in/ski-out.
Our chalet is accessed in the true European fashion. Use your sled to ascend the ramp (not steep to us locals, but almost unbearable for flat landers :), or use the elevator in the Arrowhead mall, go to the 3rd floor, exit the mall then ascend a gradual incline about 100 feet to the entrance of our Paradise.

Condo in great location with well equipped Kitchen. All appliances, TVs, showers/hot-water, fireplace, and hot tub worked well. Only issue we saw was cover for floor heater in inside mud room on bottom floor was off when we arrived. We didn't try to operate that heater so not sure if it works or not. I notified owner with picture direct via text msg.
While the property is extremely well located, walking distance from all the main village activities, as well as ski-in / ski-out, the description is not insisting enough on how difficult an access it is in the winter. The elevator was out of service and the very steep incline to get to the house was as slippery as an ice rink. It is not for the faint of heart, especially if you have a toddler/infant or if you are older. 2 flights from the street, than a steep path up and then another 3 flights in the house itself. I dont recommend it if you are not in good physical shape. Then, there were no amenities in the bathrooms, not even hand soap. Overall, nice place but too expensive for what it ended up being.
Plenty of room for our family of 7. All amenities that we needed were available. Ski in / ski out appeared to be the best at the resort. Maybe 50’ of up hill hiking, but easily manageable. I recommend this townhouse, no regrets.
First time in Big Sky. The skiing was great Good location for ski in ski out. Everything was as the listing described. Fully stocked kitchen...spices, gadgets, reynolds wrap, everything you'd need. We appreciated help from from the resort getting out stuff to and fro. We would highly recommend staying here!!
A great find and suited our needs perfectly for a Covid safe ski trip! House was as described and pictured.

We are so delighted you enjoyed your visit! We truly feel fortunate to be able to call this chalet in Paradise our home. At the base of Big Sky ski resort for skiing in the Winter, with amazing views of Lone Peak and steps away from the 4-star Summit Hotel with nearby gourmet restaurants and the Big Sky night life, Yurt dinner, and star gazing. And in the summer, at the epicenter of kayaking, rock climbing, downhill biking, and hiking in the majestic Bee Hive Basin. We hope you come back!

Great location and views but a few things could be improved
Property has ideal ski-in/ski-out location with outstanding views from the main room as well as a superb real wood fireplace. There were just a few minor things that could be improved to make this a top tier rental property.

We love our guests feedback, and are waiting for more information from them to determine what we can do better!
The location is perfect and ski in / ski out is unique and fun once you figure it out. Love the kitchen and living area. Probably the only negative was one of the four bedrooms was very small w no closet or bathroom. Some new towels and comforters are probably in order but these were all minors things. We would stay there again.
It was a great week, albeit a bit cold! Good snow, no crowds. The location of the condo was great for ski on/ski off. Kitchen was fully stocked for eat in meals, which was key given many Big Sky restaurants were closed due to staffing shortages. We had access to an elevator for transporting skis and bags in and out. Also, workers were on site to help transport bags down to ground level. Parking was sufficient in dedicated garage and extra spot. Beds were comfortable. Wifi strong. We even enjoyed New Years Eve fireworks from the comfort of the couch!! We would stay here again.

We are delighted you had good snow, and no crowds!! The condo is in an amazing location. We are glad you found the kitchen with everything you needed, and good parking, which can be a problem in Big Sky. We look forward to your return.
My family rented this house for our ski vacation and it was everything described! The pictures honestly don't do the property justice - it's even better in person. There is so much room and the views out of the living room and master bedroom are unbeatable. The kitchen was well equip with everything you'll need for your stay and if there's anything you take away from this review it's HEATED BATHROOM FLOORS. Another review complained about the "hike" up to the house but it was simple to get to and there is an on-site worker/helper that is able to help with luggage up to the house within certain hours. The ski in/out accessibility was easy to navigate, but if you have younger skiers the "blue" hill down to the house is quite steep just to keep in mind. Don't hesitate to rent this lovely home.
We had a wonderful time in your Arrowhead Condo, it was so enjoyable! The kids had a wonderful time skiing and couldn’t believe that we had a ski in ski out condo.
Your condo is very cozy and comfortable. Your new cleaners are doing a great job! The views are amazing! We watched the sun illuminating Lone Peak in the morning, clouds rolling in over Beehive Basin, and excited skiers walking up the stairs to the lifts, while we literally skied out the back door. We were mesmerized watching the grooming machines early in the morning with a cup of coffee. We enjoyed the kitchen and found everything we needed for cooking and then some. It is a magical place. We understand you only rent your condo a few weeks a year, and are already planning to come next year. Thanks for sharing it with us!

Great location but dirty
Big Sky Resort is awesome and the Arrowhead Condos are very nice. Unfortunately, I feel compelled to leave my first negative review.
This place was filthy when we got there and the cleaning crew never showed up. The owner said he'd try to get them there, but I didn't hear from him until the next day, so of course I had to clean. When he called he said he would give us a refund, but did not offer to send a cleaning crew.
The refrigerator had food debris in it, and a long hair hanging off the top shelf. Five of the six beds were unmade, and there were towels on the floor and hanging everywhere. We could only assume the condo had not been cleaned at all.
We got a refund for the cleaning, but in examining the charges, I saw that we were overcharged for the stay. We added and extra day, but were double charged for it.
All this could have been fixed with more customer service. I certainly didn't want to clean a large 4 bedroom ski chalet on my vacation, and would have preferred a clean place to a rebate. I washed linens and scrubbed the kitchen instead of relaxing.

Jennifer,
We cannot apologize enough for not having the property cleaned when you arrived. No guest should have to arrive to a vacation property that is not ready for their enjoyment. Our cleaner let you down, and us, and we have since remedied the problem with new cleaning staff. I have been trying to reach you to follow-up with you thinking you were double charged. According to VRBO, you were not charged, and I would sincerely like to remedy this situation and will continue to try to contact you.
We had a great stay although frustrated at a handful of surprises. Owners description & pictures were only somewhat accurate:
* VERY STEEP, no vehicle access, pathway to rental house. Pack light! Even if you wander down to elevator in Arrowhead building, still only half way to rental unit. We're very fit cyclists, and had a difficult time transporting personal items to & from unit. Even walking to/from resort is challenging, no matter which ramp you take.
* Owners live there, so spaces/counters cluttered w/personal items. Wish home was declutterwd like in photos.
* Pantry locked & cabinets full, so no place for food besides small counter space. Pots & pans should be replaced.
* Some areas of house have been nicely updated, so hopefully tired mstr bath is reno'ed soon (no pics of mstr avail prior to rental) & door handle/lock on main floor powder bath is installed so door doesn't open while you're using bathrm.
* Caution, Propane BBQ is on flimsy plastic folding table, so be aware when opening and don't leave it alone in a breeze. We stepped inside, table fell over, gross stuff from under grate covered our bison burgers & we were out a dinner, at 9p.m. :"(
* Microwave didn't work (fan & light did, but turning on blew a fuse)
* Communication, by text, w/Mark was less than ideal. He'd somewhat respond, quickly, but lack remorse, suggestions, or be condescending.
* Flannel sheets in summer heat isn't comfortable, and extra, dusty, Christmas stuffed animals packed on mantle aren't necessary.
* Not enough body soap, so had to take from 1 shower to another & towels are stained.
* I shared all this w/Mark via text 2 days into stay. No response.
*Views are terrific and walking distance to resort (take back entrance/dirt path for flatter walk) or free, accessable lake to swim or rent paddle boards/kayaks is great.

We have not had any complaints about the table supporting the BBQ grill, and are so sorry you had problems with it. We were trying to minimize its size so guests had ample room to enjoy the high top, outdoor table with amazing views of Lone Peak. We have installed a lock on the bathroom door and didn’t realize it opened on its own. It was installed to stay closed, but evidently that was not your experience, we are so sorry! We have installed an extra cabinet above the fridge, and shelves in the gear room as we know it is important to have a place to store extra food. We were unaware that the microwave was having problems; it has been replaced. We now have generous amounts of shampoo and body wash, and apologize that the amounts were not satisfactory for you. We have removed all evidence of Christmas, and have removed our personal items that, I understand some guests may characterize as clutter. The sheets – ahhhh, we have had guests ask for flannel because it gets cold, then other guests want cotton because it is too warm. We try to anticipate the upcoming temperature for the week and provide linens accordingly, but we missed the mark with you and apologize. Thank you so much for leaving your review, so that we may improve our guests’ experience.
Property did not meet expectations. Upon arrival 3 bags of stinky garbage were in the front entrance. There was a smell in the kitchen. Bed was broken first night and not repaired. General appearance was rundown and tacky. Christmas decorations were on fireplace mantel. I would not recommend rental of property.

So sorry about the Christmas decorations. There weren't many, but they remind me of my grown children, and I should not have left them out. They have been put away. The trash was supposed to be picked up by our property manager, but he had a family emergency and we were unaware the bags had not been removed. We sincerely apologize for this experience. We recognize first impressions are important. For future guests, please contact us immediately so we can remedy any problems. We have no knowledge of a broken bed and could find no problems after you checked out and we read your review. We put quite a bit of time, love, energy and money into remodeling 3 of the 4 bathrooms prior to your visit, new fireplace and remodeled kitchen. I'm not sure what was rundown and tacky. We really want our guests to have a wonderful experience and encourage you to contact us, to give us the opportunity to make things right. Life does not always go as we plan, but we truly care about our guests and want you to have a wonderful visit.

About the host
Hosted by Mark Benton
Long time Montana resident, fortunate enough to be able to live in this amazing Chalet, and share with other travelers/guests.
Why they chose this property
Truly ski-in/ski-out. Store your gear in the gear room, then walk out the back door, put your skiis on, and ski down (then up a little hill by the Cabin) to the base of the world famous Big Sky ski resort. After a long day skiing or fly fishing, enjoy the outdoor hot tub where you can view the wildlife. Last year we had a fox walk up onto our hot tub cover that was 1/2 way open, while we were in the hot tub 3 feet away. While we cannot guarantee this experience for all guests, our location at the very edge of the Arrowhead chalets is more enticing for wildlife.
