Visit Pearl of the Bay! A beautifully updated, modern 2 BR, 2 BA condo in the serene and beautiful Bethany Bay community of Ocean View, Delaware, located just six miles from Bethany Beach and its iconic, family friendly boardwalk.



This is a ground floor condo with spectacular views of the Indian River Bay. Step out onto your rear screened-in patio to relax by the pond overlooking the Bay. It's a short walk to the complementary pool, tennis and pickleball courts, and playground or the par 3 executive golf course (fee). Enjoy nature hikes. Use the boat ramp to launch your own kayaks or jet ski, just steps from the condo.



Park for free right in front of your ground floor 2 BR 2 Full bath unit that includes a king bed with attached full bath and 2 twins with another full bath plus a pullout queen sofa in the living room. Please bring your own linens and towels. Pillows are provided. If you prefer to rent, we recommend Gale Force Rentals in Ocean View. They deliver and pick up and they rent many other beach and vacation related items as well.



Streaming TVs (internet only) in the living room and both bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need to cook or just dine in for up to 6 people. Including both a Keurig and a drip coffee pot.



Bethany Bay amenities include use of the free large community pool, a 9 hole executive golf course (fees), play ground, tennis and basketball courts, volley ball court and more! These amenities are unrelated to the free activities listed above. There is no work out facility available for renters. Guests that would like to barbecue may bring or purchase locally, small portable grills to be used outside on the beach. But not on porches or decks please!



There are a great number of dining and tax free shopping options in the area ranging from basic family style to high end gourmet. Visit the outlet malls in Rehoboth Beach. Most brands are there.



Included with your booking are 7 different activity passes EVERY DAY within 30 minutes of the home. Each day, you'll receive one pass, per activity, including:

Home was very comfortable & accommodating. The location was great for grocery, restaurants and getting to the beach. We really enjoyed the screened in back porch overlooking the pond and the bay. Great spot!

My husband, three young kids, and I had a wonderful time. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Just a short walk to the pool and the condo was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly!

Great, clean, spacious condo with a beautiful view on a quiet culdesac. Centrally located and short drive to most tourist spots but far enough to get away from the crowds and relax in peace and quiet. Safe area, easy to get in and out of. Pool was very clean and large. Host quick to respond and eager to please. My only complaint is the noise from the upper levels, but that cant be helped and it was tolerable Would definitely stay here again!

Bethany Bay condo

The condo in Bethany Bay was a good place to stay June/July 2020, even with covid-19 restrictions. Pool & tennis were open. Stores in Ocean View well stocked. Restaurants had people count restrictions, but that didn't impact our meals out, and servers were friendly & welcoming. Condo was very clean, new or recently refurbished, had everything we needed. There was a problem with the fire alarm going off when we checked in, but the agent sent someone to replace it next day.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOST!!!!!!!

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT COMPANY!!!!! I was in a car accident a week before our trip and suffered a severe & life-changing injury. I contacted the host, explained our situation, attempted to show news articles of the accident, and tried to reschedule our trip for next year or work out any other accommodations. This vacation meant a lot to us and our children and the money we WASTED ( which the host pretty much stole) would help us a lot now with the medical bills piling up from my accident. The host was unwilling to work with us and offer any reasonable solution to the situation. We were told our only option was to try to sell our trip to friends. No offering half of our money back or any other options that a good and reputable property management company would try to utilize in order to preserve a guest and build a relationship with. We are completely disgusted with the lack of options and empathy from this host. Our recommendation would be to not book with them as they ONLY CARE ABOUT MONEY AND NOT THE LIFE CIRCUMSTANCES OF THEIR GUEST. If you are planning to go to the Bethany Beach Area and make life-long memories with your family and make first-time memories with you children, do yourself a favor a BOOK WITH A DIFFERENT HOST that has your interest as their priority, no their own financial gain. Clearly that is not Delaware Vacation Property Management LLC or their agents.

The customer was offered a pro rata refund in the event we were able to rebook the home with just a few days before check in. They were also offered an off season week. Unfortunately for the customer, the timing of her medical situation, just days before check in, made it impossible to accommodate a refund or exchange for a peak week next year without substantial loss of income to the owner. All customers have the option of purchasing travel insurance, which mitigates risks such as those suffered by this customer. We're sorry for the customer's poor experience. But we note there were no complaints about the condo!

Overall we had a great experience at this property. Upon arrival, we were a little disappointed with the cleanliness of the unit. However, after reaching out, the issue was addressed very quickly, and we appreciated the prompt response and attention to our concerns. Communication with the host was excellent throughout our stay. The location was wonderful, situated in a great area with a quiet, relaxing neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the community pool, which was the highlight of our trip.We enjoyed our stay and would consider returning in the future.

Quiet & Great Amenities

Great space and relaxing view of the lake. Great pool and tennis courts and plenty of parking. Only downside is having to go to the Vacasa office to pick up keys. It added an extra 45 mins on both sides of our trip which is completely unnecessary when it has a key fob.

Lovely vacation condo

A quiet resort with easy put-in for our kayaks, lovely views, and nice swimming pool. Suggestions: add additional light over kitchen sink; fix missing towel rack in main bath; find way to attach porch cushions so that they don’t slide when you’re sitting (Velcro?).
