This house was amazing! It was clean, cozy and we immediately felt at home. The location was central to all attractions in the area.Tahquamenon falls,Whitefish point and many other sites. The views of the sunrises and sunsets off your own little private beach were breathtaking!!Jody was extremely friendly and accommodating with helpful tips about the area and suggestions of places to see and go. We can't say enough good things about the house and Jody. We are already planning our next stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone. Thanks again, Jody, for the wonderful stay and experience!

Beautiful cabin - beautiful views!

Our family had a wonderful time! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed (and then some!), and Jody was a very kind and responsive host. The views of Lake Superior were breathtaking. We hope to return and visit again in the future!

Cozy Cabin with Amazing Views

We stayed at Simply Superior over New Year’s 2024 and it was perfect! The cabin was super clean with a beautiful view and great location. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook two large meals. Jody, the owner, was unbelievably helpful and genuinely cared about us having a great trip. We will definitely be back. My sister is already planning to visit the cabin with her family. We are so thankful to Jody for playing a big part in making our trip special!

Great getaway

Girl’s Trip

The cabin was well equipped, peaceful, and in a beautiful place. Our group of 60 something’s had a great time. The view of the bay is amazing. Jody checked on us to make sure we had everything we needed. It is a great place to stay and do day trips.

One of the best!

This is one of the best properties we have ever stayed in! It was absolutely spotless and we had everything we needed. Owner is on top of all communication and truly wants you to be satisfied and happy. Couldn’t recommend more!

Wonderful!

We had a really lovely stay. I honestly cannot say how this VRBO experience could have been any better. The home was really clean and comfortable. Jody was great with communication. She provided everything that we needed with very thoughtful touches. It was a very private lakefront home, but in town so easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Great location for exploring the Eastern UP. Would definitely stay here again in a heart beat.

It was simply superior!

Jody was an awesome host, very attentive. She helped us out of our first Up North jam and called us a tow truck. The house is just perfect. It’s cozy and we relaxed. The view is the best. We swam and kayaked. Thanks for sharing your place with us!

Amazing stay

Jody is an amazing host. The house is fully stocked and very homey. Even though she had to leave town Jody ensured that we had whatever we needed. The communication was superb. I highly recommend staying here. There is something for everyone. Beautiful sun and moon rises, freighters that you can see from the couch and an outdoor area with firepit. 15 out of 10.

A Superior Stay!

You will have a difficult time finding a UP rental as perfect as Simply Superior. The location is perfect situated right on Whitefish Bay and right in downtown Paradise. All the shops and restaurants are a 1-2 minute walk away. The house was absolutely spotless when we arrived and the home’s entire interior has been updated within the past few months. The owner put so much thought into the look of the inside right down to the coasters. It gives the home a wonderful vacation feel. The bed and furniture are the most comfortable of any rental I have stayed in. The views from inside and out of Lake Superior are absolutely stunning. You could have a great time here just relaxing and watching the freighters go by. It’s that picturesque. Jody was a fantastic host and answered the few questions I had while I was up there within an hour. Our family had such a great summer vacation getaway here. Thanks to Jody for being a perfect host.

Michigan is Superior - Ohio is Erie

Simply Superior is a GREAT cabin. The interior pictures and descriptions are accurate. The outdoor pictures should be updated with the beautiful stamped concrete area for the fire pit and also the front entrance. I would add that the privacy is really excellent. The cabin sits ~ 500 feet from the road so you don't hear or see traffic yet it is in the middle of Paradise and you can walk to breakfast. The cabins to the north and south are not seen because of the trees. We never saw anyone in four days. My family drove out to White Fish point ( about 11 miles ) at 11:00 PM. Great views of the Milky Way and thousands of stars. We also hiked at Fiborn Quarry an abandoned Limestone Quarry from 1930. Very interesting Overall we were very pleased with Simply Superior and Jody is a great host!

Incredible Getaway Beyond Expectations!!

We were left speechless upon arrival because the views, even from the inside of the cottage, are spectacular! Easy to find, easy check in and easy to just lay back and relax! Jody was phenomenal; she thought of everything and every little away-from-home detail you could imagine was inside the cottage. We needed for nothing! We had bonfires every night, watched the sunrise in the morning and went exploring (falls, Whitefish Point, Crisp Point, Vermillion Nature Perserve, Brimley, ect). Our son (20) and daughter (15) took over the loft. They basically had thier own bathroom as well (Harry Potter cubby-potty under the stairs is adorable). My husband and I enjoyed peace and quiet with our own private suite. Perfect for dogs too! Our bulldog slept like a baby; safe warm and happy just like at home. The newer built stairs led right down to the water and on the calmer afternoons we were able to sit on the rock wall and listen to the waves, watch birds and drink our coffee. We really cannot say enough lovely things about this rental. Thank you, Jody! Definitely will be back!

This was truly a Superior stay. The home is very well supplied, with lots of kitchen spices, lots of towels, and life jackets, etc. The bonfire pit was great and we used it each evening. It was also very clean when we arrived. We are hoping to come back next year.

Jody’s cabin was cozy and welcoming. We loved the cabin and property. It felt secluded even though it was a short to walk to the restaurants in Paradise. Having coffee and watching the sunrise over Lake Superior was incredible. Perfect base camp for the visiting the Falls and lighthouses. We already are planning on coming back! We can’t say enough nice things about Jody. She was so responsive and helpful.

The Simply Superior cabin is just that - simply superior. Jody has added so many lovely touches that you keep finding during your stay. The back yard is really special with the fire ring surrounded by comfortable chairs and the two rocker chairs at the top of the stairs. Having the Lake so close is wonderful. Due to smoke from the Canadian fires, our visibility wasn't the best but we captured some sunrises/moonrises. We loved the three lighthouses we visited and Tahquamenon falls, especially the lower falls with the new bridge. All in all, a wonderful week with a very helpful host to keep us straight.

Amazing stay on Lake Superior!

Spent 3 nights here as a group of 4 adults and 2 kiddos! We had so much space! The house was stocked with everything you could need and then some. The owner is so sweet and has great communication! It was very clean as well. We were close to the falls and Bear Ranch and spent time in Lake Superior! The sandbar was awesome to walk out far and made it easy for the kids to swim. After a storm, we were lucky to see a double rainbow! Thank you Simply Superior Cabin for hosting us and we can't wait to return!

Really Superior Stay

This is one of the best properties we have stayed at on VRBO. Check-in was easy, the cabin / home well appointed and very clean, a really great location to go to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point and even Pictured Rocks. The view was spectacular. Jody, you have done a great job! A great find and we are already booked for our next visit!

Perfect in Every Way

Simply Superior is a super clean, comfortable and well appointed cabin in a beautiful location. The cabin has so many thoughtful amenities - comfy throws, fire pit, equipment for outdoor adventures, books on the area, etc. There are delicious food options close by. Stunning views of Lake Superior - especially sunrises. Many things to do close by - Whitefish Point, Shipwreck Museum, Tahquamenon State Park. Best of all is the host! Jody is a kind and attentive host who really cares about her guests. A visit to her souvenir shop is a must. The name says it all - Simply Superior is truly a superior accommodation.

Simply Superior it is!

Excellent location right in town, but hidden away for privacy. Not far from rock picking, water falls, lighthouses and relaxing gazing at the lake. The sandy beach is the best I've seen and its right out front. The cabin/house has everything we wanted and more.
