Summer Retreat, Heated Pool, Game Room, Downtown New Buffalo

The pool is closed for the 2025 season. it will reopen for bookings starting in May of 2026.

Discounts available for week-long stays and discounted Winter rates from October - May.

Come enjoy our newly renovated getaway; a short walk from the beach and downtown shops. The private backyard oasis includes plenty of places to gather and lounge; in-ground heated pool, pool house, patio dining table & lounge chairs, fire pit patio, and screened-in porch. The home is perfect for families or a small group retreat. Also a great place to stay while in town for a wedding and a short drive to a Notre Dame game.

Convenience and relaxation are key, so the house has everything you will need; kitchen gadgets and cookware, washer/dryer, beach towels, linens, gas grill, and kid toys. We want to make yourself at home and relax.

The screened-in porch is your sanctuary for a morning cup of coffee and an afternoon cocktail. Enjoy the shade in the pool house on a warm summer afternoon.
Lounge and enjoy a movie on the smart TV in the rec room, or play billiards, darts, foosball, and more in the game room.

The upper level features 3 bedrooms (king, king, and two twins), kitchen with counter seating for 2, porch, dining room table with seating for 10, living room, and full bath with double sinks and shower/tub. The lower level includes 1 bedroom (2 queens), game room with billiards, darts, and foosbol, rec room with a large couch, smart TV, full bath with shower, and clothes washer/dryer.

Everything you need is a walk away. We are conveniently located 1.1 miles from the beach, 2 blocks from Jackie's Cafe, 1.1 miles from Redamaks, and 0.7 miles from downtown New Buffalo shops and restaurants.
Do you like breweries? It's a short stumble to Beer Church, 1.5 miles to Ghost Isle Brewery, and a 15 min drive to Greenbush Brewing Co.

Four Winds Casino is only a few minutes away, and it's a quick drive to the Warren Dunes and/or Michigan City Prime Outlets. The University of Notre Dame is a quick 40 min drive and Chicago is a little over an hour drive or train ride.

This place is great! They have everything you need for the pool and beach - and it was well set up for both kids (ages 2-4) and adults! It was east of a large street, which isn’t super easy to cross, but the house itself was great, as was the beach and the town!

Great Family Vacation House

This house had it all for our family of 9. Great heated pool with tons of pool and beach toys and walk to town location. Plenty of toys, games, pool table, etc for inside fun for all. Nice yard with fire pit. Lots of little extras provided throughout the property. Owners were great to deal with. We will definitely be back!

Perfect lake/pool long wknd getaway

The house was perfect for all generations of our family long weekend. Pool was wonderful and the pool house also had quality items needed for the lake. The house was conveniently located, just a quick walk to several great spots. Bonfire area, grill, kitchen amenties, game room!, bedrooms/bathrooms all great too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to be back next year!

annual family fourth of July celebration

Property was perfect for our group of 12 - 8 adults and 4 young ones. The pool will be the finishing touch. Location was good - close to beach and in a very friendly neighborhood. The interior finishes along with the screened in porch were great.

Fantastic Family Trip

We were lucky enough to book this house over Labor Day Weekend. The location was perfect--short, easy walk to restaurants, breweries, shopping and the beach. The house had all the essentials and was comfortable. The pool was great for fun all day. The owners were responsive. Really can't beat it! Highly recommend this house. We are looking forward to our next visit.

Great for a family vacation

The best thing about this rental for our family was the swimming pool. It was a huge hit with my grandkids (3 and 6). The dart board was a lot of fun for the adults as well. Although the home could have been a bit cleaner, it had everything we needed to cook meals, sleep/get ready, and relax. It's only a 2-block walk (if that) to a great breakfast restaurant, and just about a 10 minute walk to downtown New Buffalo, with shops and restaurants. My family really enjoyed our time here!

Perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time in New Buffalo. It rained and that didn’t stop us as the game room and movie channels kept everyone entertained. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. The house was very clean and this made us feel comfortable! Would love to do this again when it’s warmer out and we can enjoy the pool.

Excellent stay

We stayed here for a family vacation with adult children and a spouse and our 3 year old grandson. There was plenty to do for all ages. The 3 year old loved the zoo in Michigan City and the zoo was the perfect size for a 3 year old. Not to crowded and not to large. The family all enjoyed the beach and local shops. The private pool was even better than expected! Check in and out was a breeze and the 1:00 time was so convenient. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Our family reconnected?

The teens loved the pool and took over the game room in the evening, singing their favorite songs. Then we all played traditional board games. Check put Captain Mike's fun park 13 miles north. Tons of reasonable priced fun for all ages.

Our family had a wonder stay at this VRBO rental. Since we can’t spend every minute of the day at the beach, the house was spacious enough for us to spread out, game room was a hit with the kids and the pool was wonderful for everyone. The bedrooms were spacious enough and the beds comfortable. One evening we had a fire in fire pit for kids to roast marshmallows.Owner was responsive when we needed something.The house was 5-10 minutes from the beach. Clean family friendly beach that we didn’t have to walk down 100 steps to access.The only negative comment I could make is the ice machine in fridge was broken. Not a deal breaker because we just bought bags of ice for our drinks.Overall wonderful vacation home!!! Highly recommend.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy rental. We had 4 adults and 2 ten yr olds and there was just enough space for us. The house was clean and decorated nicely. The new pool was beautiful. The owners were very responsive and friendly. The only disappointment was that the landscaping wasn't completely finished so we weren't able to use the fire pit for s'mores. However, the pool made up for it! Once it is all complete, it will be beautiful! We cooked nearly every meal in the house and could have used a couple more larger mixing bowls, measuring cups as well as some measuring spoons but otherwise, we really enjoyed our stay!

Extemely clean. Good linen quality and good mattresses on the adult beds. Tastefully decorated. Lower level game room was perfect for our boys 15,14, and 12. Lots of good TV selection. Close to town. Had a small plumbing problem and Host was right on top of it. Had a plumber there ASAP and considering it was a holiday week that was amazing. Could use a little more silverware had to handwash if dishwasher was not full. Great state of the art appliances. I brought my own crock pot. If you added one to the mix that would be great. May be a shelf in the laundry area for that. No really room left in the kitchen for storage for that. Great toaster. Micro wave dials were icons not real easy to figure out. May be a legend to explain. If we had such a great experience in the Winter the warmer months would be fabulous. Great yard, great screen porch & pool that we were not able to take advantage of due to weather. For it not being a large home it did not feel crowded with 7 of us there. Floor plan was well thought out. Look forward to going back. Grocery Store Barney's has a fabulous wine selection.

Great Gathering Place for my gal pal trip

Love the pool, screened in porch and the bedroom setup for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. Also had pool table, foosball, and cool pool house! Owners were great.
