Cute 2bd cabin in the northern Black Hills. It was nicely furnished and it had everything we could expect. It was perfect for us as we were primarily doing thing is Spearfish, Deadwood, or Lead.
Cleanliness was great, loction was great, very peaceful, ambiance was good, well stocked with all essentials, no AC was ok but one night it stayed rather warm. Would give recommendation to dyay there.
We enjoyed our stay at Cozy Cabin. Very clean cabin in a quiet, well kept neighborhood. Very close to Terry Peak and a short distance into Lead or Deadwood.
The cabin was very clean and in a very nice location. We loved the idea of having a washer and dryer right in the cabin. Had everything you needed, from towels, bedding, cooking utensils and a variety of games to play! The only down fall would be no air conditioning in hot summer months (but they did supply fans)and the pull out sleeper in the living area needs to be replaced.

We were thrilled with this cabin
We stayed in this cabin in June 2018 and there was two couples total, which is really perfect for this place. I think the couch in the LR is a hideaway so if you are really close you could sleep 3 couples pretty easily. The cabin itself was very nice, and the only thing that could have made it better is to have a decent barbecue grill on the deck. The one there is pretty toasted, as in it's had much better days. I do understand that with rental properties though, I'm sure it is hard to keep a nice grill there, as so many people abuse them and with abuse they don't last long. Other than that it was absolutely perfect, and we will book this same cabin in the future. We rented ATV's from Mad Mountain ATV's and spent a day riding trails. FUN! Anyway, yes the cabin is very nice and you can't go wrong renting this place for a few days of exploring the Black Hills.
The home was clean, easily accessed, with personal host touches that were very thoughtful and welcoming.
The mattress of the downstairs bedroom needs to be replaced. It is uncomfortable with worn out springs that you can feel through the sheets and it creates a "hole" in the middle of the mattress. I had to sleep on the couch. It was depressing.
Also not having wifi was a bummer. It stated that it wasn't available on the initial reservation sheet I just missed it so that was my fault.
The fireplace was beautiful and kept the fall chill out wonderfully. The host left spices and sauces from previous guests so it was nice not to have to buy so many of those little things that add up. We left many of our own purchases as well.
If the mattress is replaced and we come to SD again, I would happily reserve this VRBO again.
I took a customer of mine and his wife to the black hills for the weekend as a thank you. The cabin was perfect. Very clean and well stocked. Would definitely stay here again!!!
We stayed 4 nights and with the location we were able to see Mt Rushmore, Crazy Horse, Sylvan Lake, Custer State Park, Bear Country, Reptile Gardens, Spearfish Canyon Road, Deadwood, and made the 1 1/2 drive over into Wyoming to see Devils Tower.
This rental was super clean and was stocked with everything I needed! The check in process was super smooth as well, and the neighborhood was quiet. The fireplace was a great touch too! I would definitely stay here again.
