Brights Grove Lake View Cottage

This fresh and clean 3 bedroom, one floor family cottage (2000 sqft) with bunkie (370 sqft) is located on a quiet street in the beautiful cottage community of Brights Grove located on the shores of Lake Huron. A new kitchen and flooring installed April 2022! There is a new expansive front deck with beautiful lake and sunset views. 60 steps to the beach. Short walk to parks, grocery store, coffee shop, restaurants and golf course. There is also a detached garage and an out building for plenty of storage.
This reservation has a Flexible cancellation policy - refunds will be issued up to 30 days prior to the check in date.
A 100% refund is provided for travelers cancelling at least 30 days before check-in. A 50% refund is provided for travelers cancelling from 14 to 29 days before check-in. No refunds are provided for travelers cancelling less than 14 days prior to check-in.
Our house rules: primary renter must be 25 or older, no smoking, no parties or events, no pets permitted.

We booked Glenn’s place for a family reunion with others in Bright’s Grove. The place was perfect for our two young families and a grandparent. We all had ample space to rest, to cook and dine, and socialize. The cottage is very well equipped and is spotless. It was only a few minutes from Groceries and beaches. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

Another great stay

We stayed for 2 weeks this time and it was great! There are 6 bikes now so the kids(and adults) don’t have to take turns. As always the paddle boards and kayak are big hits. And Glenn is available and quick to respond if needed. Definitely worth it!

Cousin vacation!

Getting 8 cousins and 3 moms altogether in same space with everyone happy and having fun?!? Absolutely the best place for it! Can’t wait to return! Kids made so many memories! Ages 5-24 all had a great time! Thanks Glenn!

Brights Grove Family Time

Our whole family (including grandkids) used this property as our base for extended family time. We were very pleased with the house and all the amenities. The home was very comfortable and functional for the family ... lots of space to relax (both inside and outside). We spent time at the beach, on the deck (watching some beautiful sunsets), in the rec area with the air hockey game, in the family room using the big screen TV or doing puzzles. We were able to enjoy the farmer's market a couple blocks away. We appreciated that the property manager stopped by to ensure that everything was going well and that there were no concerns. We very much enjoyed our time at Brights Grove and love to do it again.

Great Stay!

We absolutely loved the cottage and the location. The cottage was very clean and spacious, we came with two families and had more than enough room. The water was a few steps from the cottage and the lake was beautiful. There was a great walking trail along the water. We had rain one day we were there and it would have been great to have a gazebo or somewhere to sit under when its raining to enjoy the view. Another aspect that wasn’t ideal was the lack of AC in the bunkie as it did get quite hot. The ceiling fan didn't work and the fan that we did find was extremely loud and couldn’t be kept on overnight. Otherwise our stay was amazing. We would love to come again.

Beautiful location

Amazing home. Lots of room. Outdoor space was incredible. To wake up each morning and have a view of the water, a dream. Lots to do outdoors. Walking every day to see all the area offers. People are so friendly. A great place to vacation.

Fantastic family house, exactly what we were looking for!

A great experience from start to finish....easy check in, host was responsive and attentive, the cottage was even better than the description. Fantastic location, very clean, well appointed with lots of extra outdoor toys and equipment. Perfect for our family, had even more space than we needed. Beautiful view of the lake, daily sunsets, just steps to the waterfront.
