Most Wonderful Experience Ever!

From the moment the five of us old sailors first walked in, we were in awe of our home away from home in Bay St. Louis. It was even more beautiful, open, and luxurious than any of us had expected. We walked around astounded that it was so much bigger and nicer than we had anticipated. We loved the model of the old sailing vessel displayed so prominently in the den. And we were so impressed at how clean it was. The screened in back porch overlooking the canal and in the distance the waters of Bay St. Louis was really our favorite aspect of the home. The Owner was so accessible and accommodating we liked him as much as the house itself, especially when we learned that he too is a sailor. We were so pleased that we plan to return for years to come.

Peaceful spacey house

Everything was wonderful except house needs a good cleaning. Was supplied with everything we needed. Garbage cans were full when we got there but the neighbor put them out for us. He was very nice. Easy to contact owner and received quick responses. We would return.

The pictures of the camp are true to size.. the den and table seat a large family. The camp could use some cleaning, blinds and paint. I read the reviews and brought towels. I would suggest bringing pots.. we had to buy a frying pan. The elevator was not available. We enjoyed our stay overall.

Property has lots of potential, but our experience was less than stellar. Zero contact by property manager. Cleanliness was lacking, definitely not what we're used to . Bathroom & kitchen linens were minimal & in poor condition. Bedding was good. Home needs a good scrubbing including inside cabinets in kitchen & bathrooms. Carpets were dirty/stained with note left that there wasn't time for professional cleaning?! Additionally, there are cabinet door hinges that need attention, cheap plastic blinds that don't function well, etc. But, biggest problem for us as seniors was lack of comfortable seating - we wanted to spend most of our time outside & if we hadn't brought our own lawn chairs that would have been difficult as the cushions on porch furniture do not fit. They are too big for the furniture, hang off the front & are uncomfortable! Also, unavailability of the lift - we had to carry everything, including our heavy cooler, up the stairs. Property is conveniently located for the area, quiet neighborhood & could be a excellent option with a little cleaning and TLC!

The property is just lovely. The photos doesn’t do it Justice. Nice and spacious and just what I needed for me, my daughters and my teenage grandkids. The beds were very comfortable and the living and eating areas were comfortable and roomy for our family meals. The location was easy access to all the surrounding areas.

Nice get away

The property looked like the pictures except minor things that can’t be seen in pics. We loved sitting on the screened porch. I personally spent a lot of time fishing in the canal. The neighbors seemed friendly yet private. There’s more to this story of course.

Relaxing Hideaway

The property is even better than in the pictures. It had absolutely everything we needed for our stay and was exceptionally clean. We were able to pick up groceries from a nearby store and enjoyed cooking in the fully stocked kitchen, and then utilized the beautiful enclosed patio to dine while taking in the view. The living area is beyond comfortable, with plenty of seating options. The bedrooms were also comfortable and welcoming. The property contact, Jimmy, was extremely responsive when we needed assistance and was genuinely helpful. Overall, we would highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a relaxing getaway.

Great get away

We had a very nice long weekend with a few friends and family celebrating a milestone birthday. The house was located in a quiet neighborhood with nice views from the covered back porch onto the canal and bayou. We took advantage of some of the owner’s recommendations for shopping and seafood and they were spot on. The beach is not far. The host was responsive to questions we had while there. We liked the open living area and the beds were all comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped. We did have one room that was not quite cleaned all the way when we got there and we informed the owner so they could let their cleaning folks know. All in all we would stay there again when visiting the area.

Awesome rental

Awesome rental. House was clean and location was great for us being that we wanted a place with boat access to the bay. The owner was in contact early to determine how our experience was going and even directed us to the nearest boat launch. We had one issue with the living room TV which was not a problem as we spent all of our time on the screened porch or in our boat. The owner stated that they would check on the TV issue. I will be going back as soon as I can.
