Lake was nice. Home even better. Dean was very friendly and communicative throughout. Family enjoyed the stay enough we rented an extra day. Dean made that easy as well. Highly recommend. Kids loved the kayaks and game room.

Labor Day Weekend

Thus was actually our 2nd time staying here and we love the house. Lake was low but for us it was fine because we had little ones. Will definitely stay again.

Quiet, relaxing getaway

The Bluewater Dream was a good place for us to spend a few days. We were able to accomplish our goal of resting and relaxing over a long weekend. We most enjoyed sitting on the covered porch with a view of Lake Livingston. The house is updated and nicely furnished.

Great Property

Overall the home was perfect for our group of 6. Grandparents and 4 of our grandchildren. The house is on the edge of a cove with neighbors on both sides and directly across. At the time of our arrival the lake was very low leaving us no access to fish or kayak from property. We ventured out to Lake Livingston State Park for activities. With that being said we barely got the kids past the game room for majority of trip. They had a blast. Please be aware it is separate from house in terms of entrance. Separate doorway not accessible from inside the house. There are multiple levels of stairs so a lot of tripping up and down. We didn’t mind but some might. Be aware there aren’t a lot of family restaurants nearby so we cooked a lot for kids. Absolutely the only thing I would say is that like most places, pots and pans desperately needed replacing. We purchased some to get by. The kids spent nights out by fire pit making s’mores playing zombies and having a great time. Also, there is no hot tub but just a jacuzzi tub in master bath. Big difference and one we had been looking forward to. However, wasn’t a dealbreaker and being spring break you can’t just do a reset. If the lake water had been up we would have been extremely satisfied. Dean is a very nice host and very nice to offer is home out. Hope to visit again!

Family Spring Weekend Get-A-Way

We had a wonderful stay. Owner was very responsive and the place was perfect for our group. Wonderful views. Easy access to fishing just down the road and the Livingston was only about 15-20 minutes away. Great house right on the lake.

Quick evacuation made easy

We evacuated our area for an incoming hurricane. The owner responded quickly and was always available for questions. We were comfortable and enjoyed the view of the lake.

Lakefront Treasure

This lakefront home has been our 4th of July getaway for the past two years. It is nicely situated in the cove with full water access. Plenty of room for guests and a game room for entertainment. Awesome owner. Book early because we will be back.

R&R Getaway

Location was perfect waterfront. We were able to walk out pretty far into the lake and enjoy relaxing tubing/floats. The wind kept it cool outside at night. The house and setup were extremely spacious, which made for plenty of relaxation and no feeling of ever being crowded.

Great place for a family trip!

The house is a perfect place to stay if you have kids. My family had a great time. The downstairs game room was a family favorite. It's also a great spot for fishing. There's loads of catfish in that cut. The owner was very attentive and responded quickly when I had any questions. Overall we had a fantastic time and will definitely be staying again!

Perfect for any occasion

My stepson graduated and so we drove down from DFW area for the weekend. We had family fly into Houston airport which was not difficult to get to from there. There are multiple areas so it was nice to help give people their own space. I can not think of anything negative to say about this house.

Great place!

Great Value. Location on water is excellent. It was in a canal, shallow and soft bed to walk and play on for the kids. Plus it was calmer than the main lake, but still super-close to main lake. Yard was smaller than expected, but really didn't matter when we were in the water all day. Great sunrise views. Beds were super comfortable. Plenty of space for large group to gather to eat or play games. House and neighborhood are older, but that really didn't factor in much, only on setting expectations. Easy to get to. Owner was very responsive to questions and clear on instructions. Great house! Thanks Dean!

We had a great weekend

We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The house had plenty of space for our little ones to play, and it had everything we needed. The only slight downside was the lake was a bit low due to the drought so we didn't get to fish from the dock or kayak. We we likely stay again when the lake is a bit higher. Thank you!
