About this property

In this former Hotel, lovingly converted to holiday apartments, we offer private apartments with south facing balconies on the highest spot on the Wildemann mountain.
The house consists of separate but adjoining and recently renovated holiday apartments and is ideal for families and groups. Every apartment is comfortably furnished and has its own little kitchen with cooker, fridge, coffeemaker, watercooker. Bedroom with large closet and double bed, and private bathroom with bathtub/shower, toilet and sink.
The amount of Apartments for your group will be dependent on the size of your group, and the composition (couples, singles, children). Please let us know the details.

There are 2 meeting area's with full kitchen with dishwasher and (dining) seating up to 12 guests, and living area with lounge seating. Your group will have access to the partyroom with seating and Billiard (coin operated)
Large balcony with seating and Grill.
Sauna available for a small fee.

We can provide fresh warm bread (rolls) on order.

At check-in we collect in cash the local tourism tax: 2,40 euro/person/night.

Die Unterkunft ist schmutzig. In den Küchen fehlt Geschirr. Das einzirge gute ist die Lage und das man unter sich sein kann.

Schönes Semestertreffen im Harz

Wir (17 Erwachsene und 6 Kinder zweischen 1 und 4 Jahren) haben unser diesjähriges ehemligen Semestertreffen über Pfingsten in "Haus Mena" verbracht uns sind vollkommen zufrieden. Es handelt sich um eine ehemaliges Hotel das in Ferienwohnungen umgewandelt wurde. Der Besitzer wohnt ganz oben mit im Haus und ist immer ansprechbar für Fragen und Sonderwünsche. So war z.B. eine etwas frührere Anreise kein Problem. Es gibt einen Balkon mit Grillmöglichkeit auf dem wir mit unserer Gruppe komplett Platz fanden. Es gibt einen sehr großen Aufenthaltsraum mit Billardtisch im Erdgeschoss. Aktivitäten gibt es in der Umgebung auch sehr viele. Wir sind auf den Brocken gewandert und der Kuttelsbacherteich (ist mit Cafe und Spielplatz) ist auch sehr zu empfehlen. Gerne wieder.

Super Unterkunft für Gruppen

Wir haben ein langes Wochenende mit einer großen Gruppe von befreundeten Paaren/Familien mit Kindern dort. Die Unterkunft ist dafür perfekt, da es einzelne kleine Wohnungen mit jeweils einem eigenen Vollbad + kleiner Küchenzeile sind. So hat jeder seine Privatsphäre und trotzdem können alle gemeinsam in der großen Küche miteinander Frühstücken, Zeit verbringen etc. Die Terrasse ist großartig, genau wie der große Esstisch an dem alle Platz finden. Es gibt Spielsachen für die Kinder, Küchenausstattung und "das Nötigste" wie Spülmittel und Co. sind vorhanden. Auf jedem Zimmer gibt es Handtücher und Bettwäsche. Das Haus ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, das macht aber nichts, da alles sehr sauber war. Die Kommunikation mit dem Verwalter vor Ort und auch vorab lief super unkompliziert! In der Umgebung (auch fußläufig) kann man jede Menge unternehmen, auch bei schlechtem Wetter. Der einzige Hinweis den wir geben würde wäre, dass man klarer schreiben sollte, dass Billard extra kostet. Der Tisch hat ein Münzsystem (1€/Spiel), die Kugeln bekommt man nur heraus, wenn man Geld einwirft - was bei einem geselligen Abend nicht ganz billig ist. Wer gut Billard spielt, könnte es als etwas störend empfinden, dass die weiße Kugel kleiner ist als die anderen (man muss sie ja ohne Münzeinwurf herausbekommen, sollte sie ausversehen gelocht werden). Aber das ist wirklich "Jammern" auf hohem Niveau - also kein wirkliches Manko. Ich würde aber empfehlen es in der Anzeige zu erwähnen - ebenso wie die übliche vor Ort in bar zu entrichtende Kurtaxe (Geldautomaten sind weit entfernt). Rundum kann ich die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank dafür!
