Beautiful Périgord barn from the 18th century, carefully renovated in the regional tradition, located in a preserved site, in the countryside but in the immediate vicinity of all the major tourist sites of Périgord.

It will delight lovers of relaxation with its private swimming pool and its shaded terrace, as well as the most demanding guests with its neat decoration and its air-conditioned rooms.

Lovely house in a great location, a short drive to the village with plenty of shops, central for lots of attractions in the Perigord area. Pool is lovely and the air conditioning was a bonus when the weather was too hot. Friendly and helpful hosts. Thank you for a great holiday.

A wonderful place

The house, located in Perigord Noir, is a restored granary that belongs to an old farm. Perigord Nord is full of lovely villages and views that leave you breathless. We stayed in the house for 12 days (2 adults and 2 kids) and our experience was wonderful, meeting the expectations completely. Kids enjoyed tremendously the environment and all the services of the house: heated pool with jacuzzi, walks into the forest, fruit trees, horses, even we saw a small deer… The house is large and very comfortable. It is well equipped just as the web says: Kitchen (Dishwasher, microwave, nesspreso…) Bathroom with towels Washing machine Internet Heated pool (towels for the swimming pool) Barbecue Deck chairs ... Finally, i would like to emphasize the courtesy and the proximity of the owners (Laurence y Jean-Philippe) that paid attention to all our needings, making us feel us we were in our own home. Thank you very much for all, and we hope repeat next year. Eva y Nacho

Het verblijf was er heerlijk! Het huisje is prachtig verbouwd en van alle gemakken voorzien. Het is een prima uitvalsbasis om de Perigord te ontdekken en te genieten van de Franse zomer. Het zwembad is niet super groot, maar prima om verkoeling in te vinden! Laurence en Jean Philippe zijn geweldige hosts, super vriendelijk en houden rekening met je privacy.

Séjour agréable au Périgord

Notre séjour s’est bien passé dans cet agréable logement restauré. Les poutres plafond des chambres sont magnifiques, et le logement est bien équipé tout en étant authentique. La cuisine est très fonctionnelle, le lave linge / sèche linge très pratique. La piscine spa est bienvenue pour se rafraîchir par temps chaud, les enfants ont adoré. ainsi que la climatisation dans les chambres, et il fait frais au rez-de-chaussée grâce aux murs épais en pierre. Le petit jardin est calme et sans vis à vis. Nous avons rencontré un souci d’accès au wifi, qui a été résolu par les propriétaires pendant notre séjour. La discrétion et la gentillesse de Laurence, qui nous a donné de bonnes indications sur les environs et passait tous les jours entretenir la piscine quand nous étions de sortie, était très appréciable. A Rouffignac même il y a tout ce qu’il faut en petits commerces, bons restaurants accessibles, producteurs locaux, marché, animations en soirée certains jours, et il faut découvrir la grotte! Enfin nous avions oublié un objet sur place, qui nous a été très vite envoyé par courrier. Je recommande cette location pour passer de belles vacances dans une région à découvrir ou redécouvrir.

Havre de paix à 2 pas de Lascaux

Séjour très agréable dans une magnifique grange rénovée avec goût. Rien ne manque. La literie est très confortable. Nos deux garçons de 2,5 et 5,5ans ont adoré la piscinette . La maison est située dans un petit hameau paisible, à deux pas de Lascaux et des autres magnifiques trésors dont regorge la Dordogne. Nous reviendrons!

Maison très confortable et calme

Nous passé une semaine très agréable avec nos 3 enfants de 8, 11 et 15 ans (qui ont partagé la 2e chambre qui est grande et avec de vrais lits). La maison a beaucoup de cachet (grange restaurée par les propriétaires) et est située dans un coin calme. Elle est surtout très bien équipée, ce qui rend le séjour très agréable. La piscine a beaucoup plu à nos enfants qui y ont bien joué en fin d après midi après les excursions. Et encore merci aux propriétaires pour leur accueil chaleureux. Philippe M (août 2018)

Nous avons passé une très belle semaine dans une très belle région et dans cette magnifique grange ! Un grand merci aux propriétaires qui ont été à l'écoute, très disponibles pour s'adapter à nos souhaits, discrets et extrêmement gentils. La maison est un rénovation de qualité, très réussie alliant authenticité et modernité. La piscine chauffée/jacuzzi a été un grand plus, en particulier pour nos enfants qui en ont profité pleinement et en parlent encore avec enthousiasme. C'est un endroit très bien situé et surtout très calme, nous recommandons !

the property was as seen. there was lots of room [ for 2 ] . all facilities were good

everything was as advertised except -- the pool and jacussi were not available. this meant that in effect we had chosen said property on the basis that there was a pool and jacussi. if we had known that there was no pool/jacussi we would have had a much wider choice of properties and may very well have chosen a different property. one of the main reasons this property was chosen was because it had a private pool and jacussi. having the use of the owner's pool was not the same thing. the first week we could have used the private pool because the weather was good enough. therefore we feel our choices were restricted and uncompensated.

We are very sorry the pool was made out of service by our previous guests. As you mentioned, we arranged for an even BETTER level of equipment by giving you exclusive access to our pool and jacuzzi... If better is "not the same thing", then we're sorry...

Parfait à tous points de vue!

Si comme nous, vous aimez allier authenticité avec confort, charme, propreté et calme, alors n'hésitez pas à séjourner dans cette charmante grange rénovée avec beaucoup de goût. À noter le chaleureux accueil, la disponibilité et la discrétion des propriétaires, qui n'ont pas été avares en bons conseils tant touristiques que gastronomiques. Bien que retiré du centre du village (voiture indispensable pour aller chez le boulanger par exemple), la situation est idéale pour parcourir cette merveilleuse région qu'est le Périgord Noir. A conseiller sans hésitation et sans modération ! Merci aux propriétaires, Laurence et Jean-Philippe, pour ce séjour à la hauteur de nos envies. Anne, Jean-Christophe, Julien & Rosalie.

Très bien, mais un peu cher

Les prestations d'aménagement sont à la hauteur des attentes : cuisine, salle de bains, équipement.... tout est très bien. La location est très calme et indépendante, les propriétaires, charmants, sont disponibles en cas de besoin. La piscine est petite, chauffée, ce qui est un plus, et satisfaisante pour des enfants, mais il est impossible d'y nager pour un adulte (petite longueur, avec une partie jaccuzi), ce qui est une limite, et ne justifie pas le prix demandé, un peu élevé.

Gute Erholung auf dem französischen Land

Wer die Ruhe im Urlaub sucht, ist hier genau richtig. Das gepflegte und sehr schön angelegte Grundstück mit seinem angenehmen Strömungspool trägt dazu genauso bei, wie das äußerst geschmackvoll restaurierte Haus. Die hervorragende Innereinrichtung und insbesondere auch die Küche lässt keine Wünsche für einen gelungenen Urlaub offen. Bei aufgetretenen Fragen, Wünschen oder Problemen waren die sehr freundlichen Vermieter stets sofort behilflich. Eine genauere Anfahrtsbeschreibung wäre für zukünftige Gäste sicherlich hilfreich.

11 dgn mogen genieten vd gastvrijheid van JP en Laurence. Huis is authentiek, van alle gemakken voorzien, koel een prima vakantie huis. Ligt rustig in een gebied met 4 huizen bij elkaar, geen last van elkaar. Wat betreft restaurants moet je wel een stukje rijden, maar je kan ook heerlijk BBQ in eigen tuin. Prima basis om allerlei uitstapjes te doen ook met kinderen(klein zowel als groot)

Fantastic!

We have had a very nice stay at this marvelous restored, charming barn. The renovation has been done in a very luxurious way, the kitchen is equipped with everything you need, the bathroom and toilets are very modern, the bedrooms are great! The house is very clean, everything has been taken care off with love and good taste. The owners are very nice people who welcomed us with a lovely welcome-aperitif. They are great hosts! The envirement is beautiful, a lot of nice places to visit. The grocery shop is a few minutes by car. Thank you so much, Laurence and Jean-Philippe for making our holiday one of the best we ever had! We highly recommend this property and hope to return again!
