We enjoyed our stay here. Great local to walk or drive into town. I didn't realize we had to walk upstairs to get to the apartment. However, we were all people physically capable to do so. Home was very clean and comfortable. Love the convenience of a washer and dryer. If you plan on cooking your meals. Great counter space and outdoor grill. Didn't see a grill brush though to clean the grates. We made so though. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you so much for allowing us to rent from you.
My wife and i had a great stay at the property and a great time riding along the Lehigh river in the bike trail. The property was a short walk from the Union Public House and Hairy Guys brewery. We enjoyed both and want to mention the Union Public House for there menu which was ecclictic and included plenty of vegetarian fare. My wife is a vegetarian and she loved it! The staff at both places were awesome! Highly recommend!
This is a great spot to stay - minutes away from the city center and a 5-min walk from a great restaurant/pub. Would definitely stay here again and again!
Great place. Would go again. Close to Lehigh River activities and bike trails.

New Year’s
We could manage the steps to the place, but suggest it be noted in the description that there are many steps and a small incline to be navigated.?our ages are 78 to 80.I was not aware we were on the other side of Jim Thorpe away from the activities and had to drive to the other side. We enjoyed our stay.
Myself and three friends stayed here and it was the perfect space for a girls' getaway in Jim Thorpe. It's a short drive from the busy part of town and easy to park on the street in front of. We spent a lot of time in town, but while at the vrbo we cooked breakfast, used the TV to watch shows, and were comfortable hanging out.
This is one of the best rentals I’ve had for family travel. Spacious, clean, comfortable, easy. The beds were great. Plenty of towels, fully equipped kitchen, laundry, etc. We had everything we needed for 5 adults. Be aware that there are quite a few steps to the entrance and the home is on a hill. This was a challenge but manageable for my 80 yo mother in law. I was glad I didn’t bring my dog because I don’t think she could have managed them. The twin beds, esp the daybed, are small for an adult but would be perfect for kids. My 21yo chose to sleep on the couch instead but he said it was very comfortable. We really enjoyed sitting out on the little deck by the entrance. Very relaxing looking out at the beautiful mountains. This property is on the residential side of Jim Thorpe which was perfect for us since we were visiting my son who lives in that area. The area is very nice and has a few places to eat and a grocery store. You could walk to the historic side of town but it’s more than a mile and quite hilly so you’ll want to drive over and park - go early to get a spot. This beautiful place was a great home base for our trip. We went hiking, checked out the 100mi view, went to Lansford to do the number 9 coal mine tour (very cool), saw the Asa Packer Mansion and rented the caboose for the scenic train ride. It was the 4th so we cooked burgers and dogs back at the rental and sat on the porch watching some fireworks in the distance. Perfect stay!
We enjoyed our stay at this property very much. It was very quiet neighborhood. Enjoyed Jim Thorpe so much. We are very interested in staying at the property again this summer
Great stay. Location close to town and the Gorge for hiking. So nice we were able to have our furry companion with us. Clean and has everything you need.
We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything was close by and convenient. I loved that the property was dog friendly. My dogs loved the yard. It was a quiet and peaceful location. We will definitely stay there again.
Great, little fun town to visit. Property was very well taken care of. It's a good walk downtown, but not bad, and Ubers were usually available. Cool neighborhood bar, good priced food just down the street if you want a more local experience on the east side of bridge. Nice stay all around, good property. Would recommend.

Not what we expected.
The property wasn’t as we expected. The outdoor areas were unsuitable and/or unsafe. The neighborhood had burned out and abandoned homes. The home itself was cozy, although the memorial wall and childhood cancer references were a bit unsettling. The beds were comfortable. There was no wood for the fireplace.
The house was clean and equipped with basic needs like laundry soap, paper towels etc.
owner was east to communicate with. Very cozy and great for our dogs. Fenced in yard was a real plus. Five minute drive to town
Happy with our stay, place was as advertised. Comfortable and great views. Snowed like crazy so more shoveling than anticipated also lots of shops/restaurants were closed. People/kids with pet allergies will need meds. Would recommend however. An instruction list for cleanup and do's and don'ts would have been helpful.
This was the first time my family and I have been to Jim Thorpe, so we definitely had to go during the winter fest weekend. The rental had a gorgeous view out the front window. It was very spacious and they provided a lot of item for us; sheets, blankets, towels, shampoo and conditioner and so much more. The fireplace was super nice. The drive was only about 5 minutes into town which wasn’t bad at all. We brought our two chihuahuas with us, the place was very pet friendly and clean. I wish the ice would’ve been cleared from the deck and yard so we could’ve actually used it for our dogs bc they would’ve loved it. The only thing we were really upset with is the electric heat didn’t work over the weekend we were there and it was FREEZING. I did call the owner about the heat not working and she responded right away plus came over to check it. Unfortunately, we were out to eat so when we got back to the rental I called her so she could walk me thru it but the baseboards were warm. The next morning we checked and the baseboards were back to being cold. So whenever we were at the rental we had to have a fire going to stay warm. It would be nice to be refunded some money bc of the heat not working and being frozen all weekend. Other than the heat and ice and it a gorgeous place to stay and I would definitely stay again as long as the heat would work next time.

Outdoor person happy to point you in the right direction for a fun time. I have enjoyed everything that Jim Thorpe has to offer with my family for the past 20 years. My six kids are nature lovers. I moved to Jim Thorpe in 2019 after loosing my 13 year old daughter Josephine to DIPG brain cancer. Josephine had a lust for life and loved this town. She enjoyed its numerous trails, rafting trips, and biking paths. After Josephine’s passing in June of 2019, this place has allowed me to feel connected to my Josephine thru our immense love for nature. She is everywhere. Josephine would wish everyone to enjoy these mountains, lakes and rivers as much as she did, in the company of your love ones. Life is precious. Enjoy it.
