House was perfect for our group. Had everything you would need. Hot tub was perfect after skiing at Wolf Creek. Will definitely stay here again.

Ski trip

My self and 5 others had the pleasure of enjoying this quiet property on a ski outing. We all loved the lay out and really enjoyed relaxing by in the hot tub/ around the fire! We’ll be back next season!

Ski trip

We went skiing. The house was good size and had everything we needed. The hot tub was a bonus and a main reason why I booked there. We saw so many mule deer. We had never went in December before! We loved it and will be back!

Great fishing cabin.

Terrific fishing cabin in the town of South Fork. Close to fly shops and the Rio Grande river. Terrific for a group of six or eight. Have to be good friends as the room layout is a little bit weird. Had to pass through one bunk room to get to the other two bunk rooms. And then two king rooms. Great for a bunch of guys who don’t mind sharing bedrooms and sleeping on top bunks. Or for a couple of couples with some kids. Big dining room area as well as a good living room and an easy to operate kitchen that had most tools. Could use a few more cups and glasses. We will stay there again when we’re down fishing the Rio Grande near Southfork or Del Norte.

We have family that lives close to Southfork and so we decided for the first time to rent a place like this actually second time couple years ago we done a smaller house in another location had good luck with that and very good luck and enjoyed every bit of our stay this time we met with my youngest daughter and her husband and son, and then my granddaughter and great granddaughter and then also my other daughter and three great grandsons and a sister-in-law and a grandson so it was quite a fun time.

Disappointed

Location is good. We rented this place mainly because of hot tub and location to go so at wolf creek and ski. When we arrived there was a note that said hot tub cover was broken from weather. The hot tub had trouble keeping temp bc the cover was literally ripped in half. I tried to call the owner multiple times to ask questions on hot tub and never got return call. The beds were not good. The “kings” are two fulls pushed together so there is a huge crack in middle. You have to pay to throw your trash out at local grocery store. Overall disappointed, especially the lack of communication by owner.

Location was nice and the cabin was big and slept our large group well. Kitchen was dated, not all burners worked on the stove and we felt the kitchen lacked some functional items to be able to cook adequately for the group. Everywhere we have stayed in South Fork in the past had more supplies in the bathroom when it came to shampoo, conditioner, soap and toilet paper. No trash bags big enough to fit the large trash can in the kitchen. More were provided however remained too small. Hot tub didn't appear to function the best and when we walked in the amount of lysol sprayed from cleaning crew was so overwhelming we had to open the entire cabin to air it out.

Overall a very nice place to stay

Could use more cleaning. Front and back yard needs maintenance. Light bulbs burned out,short on toilet paper. Host was very responsive on curing these issues. Great accommodation for 6 people.

Great cabin for a large group of people

Great location, close to town, good parking for trailers with atvs. Front and back yards need maintenance, house was not as clean as it could have been. Several light bulbs were burned out and very short on toilet paper. Host responded very quickly to replace the bulbs and toilet paper. With 5 bedrooms everyone had their own room. Large dining area and living room, two full bathrooms and a nice size kitchen. Would recommend and stay there again.

Great stay!!!

Had a great stay at the property. Property could use some repairs, windows which wouldn’t open and things like that, but overall a great place. Property management did not seem to be on their A game. Spoke to the owner once about an issue when we first arrived, very nice guy who was very willing to be whatever was needed. Would stay there again.

House was roomy and accommodating. Kitchen had poor lighting and no adequate ventilation while cooking on stove. It was a perfect location in town and we had a wonderful time.

Lots of room

Nice house plenty of room great view. Well stocked kitchen. However yard looks like hasn’t been mowed this summer. Weeds waist high. Hot tub was unuseable. Water brown tint and smell bad. No hot water to wash machine still had great time. Mountain trails were great

Great place for families!

This was the perfect place for two families to get together for skiing, sledding, and games together! I love the three bunkrooms and two master bedrooms, plenty of couches, practical kitchen setup, plenty of dining room seating, and large backyard. When I had to contact the owner about something they were friendly and responsive.

Worked great for our crew!

Plenty of space for our group of 8 people. Inside of the house was clean and nice. Had everything we needed for a successful ski trip. Outside was a bit dirty. Beer cans and other trash. I picked some of them up before we left. I do plan on looking at this property again next year.
