Cameron's Beach Front is a private site 400m off the West Coast cycle trail located 15 min away from the Greymouth Township and 20 min from the Hokitika Township. Nestled in 5 acres of native bush, only a one minute walk from door to beach front, and your choice of two twenty minute walks along the beach to the Taramakau River or New River, you'll see the best of the West Coast's outdoors.

-Private Beach access, ideal for fishing/white baiting.
-short drive to Shantytown.
-If fold out bed(s) are used an additional charge of $25.- per person

So happy to stay here with our dogs! Friendly hosts and a quiet location beside the beach. Beautiful beach walks, and sunsets, plenty of firewood for the beach fire. Comfortable beds and good kitchen facilities.

Perfect spot for a family getaway

This was a great place to stay. The hosts were warm and welcoming and the location was amazing. The beach was so much fun to explore and to watch the sun set. Our only regret is that we didnt stay longer.

We had the best little getaway here 🫶 location is amazing, couldn't be better, right on the beach and so much to do in a short distance! Perfect 2 bedroom size for a family of 4. We will definitely bring our dog next time and we will be back soon thanks to the 5 star hosts Tavanna and Tone

We had a great 2 night stay. Loved the spacious areas of the home with everything needed for an enjoyable stay. The hosts were friendly and we loved the close proximity to the beach. Easy driving to Greymouth, Hokitika and the Arthur’s Pass Highway.

A hidden gem - spacious and wild

Quick stay before a MTB race, already booked in again later in the year to really relax and look around this place. Quick and clear comms on late booking and late arrival. Easy drive from Christchurch, see you soon!

Lovely location for family holiday

The children and ourselves loved the location as it was right on the beach. It was very private as well. Hosts were friendly and helpful. House was clean and beds very comfortable. We all enjoyed our stay and we aim to come back.

Beautiful garden + beach access!!!

We only stopped for a night on our way to Golden Bay. Hosts are both very welcoming. Good accommodation with lots of space and nice veranda ( watch for sandflies !)

Private guesthouse in beautiful garden settings, private walk to the huge beach

Great communication with hosts before travel and while we were there. Guesthouse was larger than expected and can host 4 easily. Huge beach with literally none there. Great stopover if coming from (or going to) Arthur‘s pass. In the huge garden there is space for camper vans.
