It was mostly rainy so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful outdoor space but there were enough activities to entertain all of us from preteens thru seniors. The home was comfoetable, well stocked and thoughtfully appointed. We all would enjoy returning!
The location was very close to lots of activities. We were able to go go-karting, visit the aquarium and go to the beach. My kids loved the play area. It was just what we needed.
The property was well kept. Enough room for all. House so well stocked with household items. Game room was awesome for all. The kids & adults really enjoyed the competitive competition. Driveway a bit tricky but house at
very end of street had wonderful privacy.
perfect location to Niantic and Coast Guard Academy
Host was responsive to request about Air Conditioning and a coffee pot that decided to stop functioning (they understood my need for coffee!) Awesome set up with games, yard and a deep freeze?! We stayed for my daughter’s graduation from the Coast Guard Academy and wedding 2 days later! we could walk to Niantic if not on a tight schedule and the drive to academy was perfect about 12 minutes. My college age boys enjoyed the game basement. Fantastic site!

Too many things wrong about this house to list. From the bee infestation on the deck, to the musty smell throughout the house and moldy window air conditioners. Kids got lots of mosquito bites at night due to temp windows being open from tape being old and not sticking anymore. Non working fridge and owners brought a mini fridge but too small because we brought a lot of food with us and had to even throw food out. Owners pretty much responded quickly but things weren’t resolved during our stay. Was also blamed for a hole in the wall that we didn’t do.
We loved that this home is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac! We also loved that the kitchen, dining, and living areas are an open area so we could all be talking while one was cooking and others watching TV. The yard is very large and private. A few tips, bring a blender (if you're a smoothie person), the deck is very sunny and there isn't an umbrella for the table on the deck so bring sunscreen, the yard is private/surrounded by woods so bring bug spray. We brought all three so we were all set! The communication with the owner was great! Also, where it is at the end of the cul-de-sac, there was a basketball hoop and plenty of room to shoot hoops which our son loved! We used all three of the upstairs/ main floor bedrooms, the 4th bedroom is downstairs in the game room but it isn't separated from the game room so keep that in mind. We did not need to use this bed as there were only 4 of us. The beds in the two king bedrooms on main floor are very low to the ground (platform beds) so you may want to keep that in mind as well. It wasn't an issue for us. The beds and bedding were very comfortable. The plates and bowls are square (breakable) so if you have children you may want to opt for disposable plates/bowls. We did and it also saves on having to use the dishwasher often. The coffee maker is an auto drip and not programable (programming doesn't work) so what we did was to set-up coffee night before and whomever woke up first simply hit the button to brew the coffee. My older son and I walked down to Niantic most of the mornings. Route 156 is busy so we walked down to the set of lights to crossed where there was a sidewalk on the other side. You can walk right over the bridge (there's a sidewalk on the bridge) and have a wonderful ocean water view (about 15 minutes from house). On the other side of the bridge is the town (very quaint must see) which is another 10 minutes from the bridge. There's a bakery on left side with fresh bread made daily. Very fun game room but keep in mind there are a lot of stairs (carpeted) to get down to it or you can access it from the driveway outside as well (which might be easier for young children or elderly or handicapped people). There is a very secure gate at top of stairs (wooden half gate) that is very safe. We had a wonderful time!
I loved the cleanliness, accuracy and neighborhood of the house. It is very spacious and loved the gaming room! The kids had a blast playing while the adults conversed! Loved that it is pet friendly so I was able to take the dogs. Planning on going back soon!
Thank you.
This house was perfect for our short family getaway, comfortable, clean, specious and fun! The kids loved the arcade room and we all spend time together playing many of the board games. The beds were comfortable, there was lots of space to relax, both inside and in the yard. Kitchen had everything we needed. The neighborhood was quiet and just a short drive to stores and restaurants. Thank you!
The house was exactly everything we wanted and needed for Homecoming weekend at USCGA. The location of the house was convenient for everything we needed and my husband and son had a great time hanging out and playing old-school video games on our first night there. The amenities of the house were great and there was more than enough room for friends and family to hang out.
We had so much fun playing games and chatting in the relaxing and open space! The owner was very communicative and everything went super smoothly. Highly recommended!
House was clean, comfortable and fun for our family and two small dogs. Owners were great to communicate with. Location is a short drive to beaches, casinos and Mystic.
Had a family trip planned to look at wedding dresses and venues near Mystic. This house was in the perfect location away from the traffic but close enough to enjoy the area. The house has some quirky things but overall it was a good spot. Enjoyed the yard, firepit and deck.
8 of us in our family stayed here for 3 nights over Memorial Day weekend. The house is the last house on a dead end street with a large yard. It’s a pretty spot and very quiet. The house was very comfortable and had plenty of room for all. The kids had a good time in the game room .
Oversized rooms with wonderful open floor plan. Big upper level deck off dining room. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Recommend nearby Mexican Restaurant is genuine 3 Stars - La Llorona.
Will rent this again.
What a wonderful weekend getaway! My two boys 4 & 7 loved the basement which was basically like an arcade, with video games, board games and everything you can imagine. The home is well cared for and nicely decorated. The home is located very close to everything while still being on a nice quiet street. The owners do a really great job. We can't wait to come back!
Pleasant stay, especially good for the kids. We had fun, owner very attentive, clearing the drive of the snow. A bit under furnished but a good place to stay over all.
