We are a Portuguese couple with two kids who are passionate about traveling and visiting new places around the world. We lived in several continents and multiple countries. Studied in the US and worked in multiple countries in Europe and Latin America. Being ex consultant and business executive traveled a lot for work and pleasure getting to know first hand the traveler needs and how critical a great travel experience is. We are passionate about Portugal, our home country, and would like to share some of that unique experience and passion for excellent service with our guests
Why they chose this property
Quinta de São Pedro is an unique landmark. It was built in 1927, under the guidance of the renowned architect Raul Lino, the most famous Portuguese architect of the XX century and the "father" of the concept of the Portuguese House. The Farm has the name of the XV century Chapel located by its side.
Quinta de São Pedro is also known by the name of Quinta de São Martinho, as it is located in the fields denominated São Martinho by the Royal Crown decree (Foral) in 1st June 1512. By the last quarter of 19th century these fields started to develop and surrounding gardens got extra attention and care. Quinta de São Pedro has 4 fountains, one of which dated of 1884, constructed by the priest Serafim Pedro de Carvalho Sequeira, from the original family that built the House.
