This is a Mini Resort in Curacao that will give you everything you need for an enjoyable vacation at very reasonable prices. The Resort has Vacation Rental Apartments and a Private Villa including a Penthouse that are located on one of the highest point in the Jan Thiel area. This means you'll be enjoying the best views over the beautiful Jan Thiel Nature Reserve with its singing birds and parrots and the most beautiful sunsets.


The apartments come fully furnished:

On the spacious porch you can sit and enjoy the fantastic view over the salt pond and nature area at Jan Thiel.
There are 2 bedrooms ( 1 with a double bed and 1 with 2 single beds,all box springs) and of course both air conditioned.
An extra bed or Baby beds are available upon request. There is a washing machine for every apartment.

Friends' Getaway

We enjoyed our time at Jan Thiel. The pool was rarely busy and open until 10. Only a 5 minute drive to the Jan Thiel beach, which is less busy than Mambo. Parking can get tricky. If you have a larger vehichle, just park in front of the property and not through the gate. The house slept 5 comfortably and both bedrooms have AC, however they do require an initial deposit that is returnable at the end of your stay, minus your cost of electricity used. They also rent beach towels but you're probably better off to just bring one or buy one at the store to save money. Overall it was a great trip and would stay here again.

View the large colony of flamingos in the bay from the beach, the group accommodation or from the surrounding nature park with a special piece of mangrove forest. Together with the frigate birds, these birds make your tropical beach experience complete. And as a bonus? Jan Thiel Beach is partially reserved for guests at the resorts around the bay. As a guest at this resort, you have a preferred position.
