Built in 1979, this 7-bedroom cottage located on Lake St. John is ideal for making memories with friends and families.
Only 1.5 hours from Toronto, 5 minutes from Casino Rama and 15 minutes to downtown Orillia you get the cottage feel without being too far from local restaurants, shops and entertainment.
The cottage also has WIFI which allows for streaming and work from home, but with a lake view.

2020 Thanksgiving

Overall experience was good. The house is spacious and clean. The owner provided plenty of supplies. The tap water is not drinkable , the owner provided a water cooler, but no extra water tanks. You may need to bring your own bottled water for drinking. The heaters in the bedrooms weren’t working at the thanksgiving time. It was cold during the night especially the rooms facing the lake which has the northern wind coming in from the gaps around the door and some other small openings. Other than that everything else was good.

Awesome time!

We had a wonderful stay with a large group. The cottage had everything we needed. The kids loved the sandy area going into the water, they played for hours! It was a little weedy but Still fun! Thnak you!

Weekend Getaway at Laura's Cottage

A group of friends and I had the opportunity to stay at Laura's cottage. The cottage was beautiful, with a beautiful dock, backyard, deck, and lakeview windows from inside the cottage. Laura stocked the cottage with everything we could ask for (towels, utensils, canoes, etc.) and was always available to help us whenever needed. Great host and a great cottage. I rate the cottage 5 stars and would love to stay again in the future. - Alex

Lake st john

Excellent place. Great for large group. Cottage was very well equipped, clean and comfortable. Nice little sandy beach for kids. Would recommend this cottage
