Welcome to our lovely water front cottage in Muskoka, the perfect place for a relaxing and fun-filled getaway! This cozy cottage is fully equipped and provides everything you need to enjoy your stay, including a hot tub that overlooks the beautiful waterfront.

The cottage is ideal for families or groups of friends looking to spend some quality time together. With a dock, a small sandy entrance area, and a shallow soft river bottom, it's perfect for kids and adults alike to enjoy swimming, fishing, and boating. The place is cute and the host responsive and helpful. The place is clean and up to date, kitchen fully stocked with spices and cooking gear. The place is not big and the rooms are very close quarters but it’s charming and the living area is very communal. The one downfall is the quality of the beds, the mattresses are distorted and thin.

Location was great as it was near the casino and local golf courses. Washago is close for groceries as well.Place was clean and well kept.

Family Fun

We enjoyed "Take It Easy" cottage with our son and his young family. The river was a great swimming spot for our grandchildren and the adults enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We employed the canoe several times for early morning rides. The house was plenty big enough for all and well appointed. Only drawback was that the water was not potable so we had to purchase drinking water. Other than that, we would return without hesitation. Thank you for the lovely bottle of wine and welcome note Anton and Kristina.

Great property for larger groups

Stayed here with extended family for a few nights and it provided everything we needed. Several rooms/beds and a large kitchen/dining area for preparing and eating meals. Two bathrooms and laundry on-site was convenient. Hot Tub worked as expected and the included Canoe and Paddle Boat were enjoyed with immediate access to the water on the property.

Had a great golf weekend with the guys, plenty of courses in the area, the cottage was great and we had a good time. Place works for 8 people but if you are all adults then The sleeping arrangements are a little tighter than the pictures show.

Fun and Relaxing Stay

As a party of 12 we found this cottage comfortable and relaxing. The place is organized and everything is easy to use and access, including the hot tub, canoe and paddle boat. Anton's check in process was very clear and he remained communicative throughout our stay, even though he was on vacation. The only downside was that the property was in very close proximity to other cottages. Overall great stay and would consider staying again!

Beautiful cottage

The cottage was beautiful inside with all the modern conveniences of a home. The area is simply beautiful. The dishwasher wasn't working for us. The water / river was full of weeds; when you swam the weeds were always touching your body. It was a bit gross. I should have asked about the swimming & weeds before booking. Had I known about the excessive weeds I would have booked elsewhere. We did see lots of wildlife including a baby otter and a water snake by the shoreline and we stumbled upon 2 garter snakes by the cottage.

We’re sorry to hear about your experience with the dishwasher. After your stay, our cleaning service inspected it and confirmed that it is in proper working condition. The dishwasher model in the cottage typically runs for 2 to 2.5 hours, which is normal — but we understand that may not have been clear during your visit. As for the river, we appreciate your honest comments. The shoreline is part of a natural ecosystem, and during warmer months, weed growth can increase. While many guests enjoy the rustic feel and the chance to spot wildlife — like the baby otter and water snake you mentioned — we understand it’s not ideal for everyone. We'll be sure to provide more details about the swimming conditions to help future guests make an informed decision.
