IMPORTANT POLICIES FOR YOUR STAY:
Age & Occupancy: The booking tenant must be 25 years or older and must occupy the property for the entire duration of the stay. This property is exclusively available as a vacation rental and not for worker housing.
Peak Season Monthly Bookings: All bookings from December through March must be for the entire month, starting at the beginning and ending at the end of the month. Consecutive months may be booked if they follow this requirement. Bookings that do not adhere to this policy are subject to cancellation. If you are interested in alternative dates, please contact us for approval before booking.
No Pets: Pets are strictly prohibited. To help maintain a pet-free environment for all, we require every guest to confirm they are not bringing a pet/animal. It's free, and does not require creating an account. After booking, you'll receive a link to complete the process.
Smoking Policy: Smoking is strictly prohibited to maintain a smoke-free environment.
Mid-Stay Cleaning: For stays of 28 nights or more, we reserve the right to require a mid-stay cleaning to maintain the quality of the property. For longer stays, a mid-stay cleaning will be required every 28 nights thereafter. The cost will be collected separately, and the number of cleanings depends on the length of your stay.
Boating & Dockage Advisory: Due to bridges and varying water depths, it is your responsibility to ensure that your boat can safely navigate local waters, access the canal, and fit the listed dockage before booking. While we are happy to provide general information based on our knowledge of the area, guests must exercise extreme caution when boating and ensure all activities comply with local regulations.
Local Wildlife & Pest Control: The Florida Keys are home to various insects (mosquitoes, no-see-ums, termites), reptiles, chickens, Key deer, and other wildlife. While routine pest control is in place, complete elimination is not possible. Guests should take precautions, such as using insect repellent and keeping doors closed, to minimize exposure.
Construction & Renovation Notice: Due to ongoing growth in the Florida Keys, renovations, construction, and road repairs may occur without prior notice. While we strive to provide a peaceful stay, iTrip Key West is not liable for any inconveniences caused by nearby construction.

Great Location
Clean and accessible duplex with canal access for boat and fishing. It was very comfortable for a month’s stay. We will be back!
We stayed 35 days in this property and we had a positive experience.
Everything works nicely and the owner did a good job of sprucing up the place with splashes of color. The house is a bit dated and the couches could use a reupholstering job but this detail does not detract from the enjoyment of the place.
The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you will need for a meal and more.
This is a convenient location and the area is quiet and safe. The canal is a very nice feature and we were thrilled to have manatees visit more than once.
Being this half of a duplex we were a bit anxious about possible non compatible neighbors, however we were lucky to have a like minded couple stay next door in the period we were here. When both parties are in the screened-1n porch areas you will have no privacy but in our case it did not happen very often.

First, the management service for this property did an excellent job of informing us of the rules and in responding to questions and requests. Great communication, quick responses, always tried to help us however possible.
Second, the location, for our purposes, was very good. - between Marathon and Key West, on a quiet key with little development.
Finally, the unit itself was just ok. I guess people mostly come to this area to go fishing, and with the boating access, the property would accommodate that. The issue for us was that the property had limited amenities in several areas. The bathroom is small and lacks counter space. The kitchen had zero spices. Every appliance was older and had something wrong with it. I doubt we'd stay there again, but I'd recommend it for people completely focused on fishing.
